Escape the busy city life and immerse yourself in nature. Our tented camps give you a unique experience with wild animals of Kenya and the magnificent landscape of the Ol Donyo Orok mountain. With out luxurious tents you sleep under canvas and wake to bird song. This secluded self-catering hillside retreat is the perfect getaway for couples, friends and families bringing you closer physically and emotionally. We are here to provide you with an authentic experience between travelers, nature and culture. No cell service, just relaxation. We are able to provide you with a vehicle and a guide to embark on the famous game drive experiences that Kenya has to offer. We want our guests to feel very comfortable while still being in the complete bushside, therefore we provide toiletries, house slippers, hot and cold running water, some tents are equipped with a kitchen provided with the needed utensils, pots and pans. You can do a little yoga with the stunning view of Mt. Kilimanjaro and enjoy the view of the acacia treetops all the way up to our famous hill the Oldonyo Orok mountain.

Only a few hours on perfect tarmac road from Nairobi and you find yourself surrounded by wild life, mountains, trees and the most beutiful, everchanging sunset sceneary. Delicious food, lovely staff. This place has every thing you need for short and long stays. Amboseli National Park is just around the corner, but smaller hikes or bike tours to Oldonyo Orok Mountains with local Maasai guides are also higly recommended. Bring your laptop and work with a view. If it gets a little hot during the middle of the day just jump in the pool - you might see Kilimanjaro while splashing in the water. Oldonyo Orok Camp is the perfect Nairobi getaway! :) Bonus info you can get here on your dirt bike without using the tarmac road from Nairobi.

My wife, son (4 months) and I stayed for two nights. The place had all we needed plus lovely tents with a kitchenette plus power. Staff and owners were kind and accommodating. Best pool, calm atmosphere and night skies. We hope to be back again soon.

Our stay was fantastic! We enjoyed beautiful long walks around the serene property, sightseeing of wild Kenyan animals, lounging and cooling off in the luxurious pool, and very accomodating dining options with delicious fresh fruit juice every day and 100% vegan meals available for the vegans in our group. This included tofu scramble, cashew curry, fresh chips, ginger soup, fresh fruit, and salads made with fruits and vegetables from the huge on-site garden! This is a fully solar powered property with a sustainable mission, power in each cabin, comfortable beds, and hot showers. We can't wait to return!

Couldn't have been better. The hosts were very sweet and created a very personalized experience, checking up on us and telling us a little about how they started up this sanctuary and turned it into a tented camp. Very accommodating and absolutely loved the food. 100% coming back here again.

Amazing accomodation and very quick to respond with any questions. So cool to be up close with the wild animals and in such a serene environment. They are also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful. The place was clean, quiet and a very calming place. The whole place made us feel at ease. I would definitely come here again!
