We spent many wonderful holidays here as children without parents, and then as a teenager with pals. Now we visit as adults with our own children. Some of the amenities could benefit from updating, overall it is an excellent spot, close to beaches, walks, sights, and the villages of Crookhaven and Goleen.

This camping park also has mobile homes / caravans on site. Facilities are excellent. Toilet and shower block is spotless and is cleaned regularly. The shop is very well stocked. The nearest alternative (in the small village of Goleen) is a 5 mile drive away. Mind you the butcher in Goleen is excellent for BBQ meat. Crook haven pier is...

Barley Cove holiday park is a site that caters to mobile phones, campers and tents. Myself and my finance stayed in a tent on a plot that was very generous in size. The facilities on site are excellent, very clean toilets and showers, a shop, a takeaway, laundry room etc. The only downside was that there was no hand soap...

Stayed here for a nite, lovely park, had a camper van and there were plenty of spaces to choose from. Staff were friendly, small shop and take away on site which is handy, they had no hose for filling fresh water tank on camper but not a big deal. Play ground for kids was basic, lovely beaches close by and...

A lot of people complaining here about things they should not care staying outdoors. Focus on what's important: Toilets are clean, water is hot, grocery shop is there. Staff is polite, prices are OK. I have got everything I needed staying here for a night. Already recommending this place to my friends. By the way, as I said- really windy,...

First weekend away in our new camper. Headed to barleycobe with the kids 16 and 11, booked into barleycove park, very clean site, plenty of pitches available, very clean toilet blocks, showers and wash up area, although no hand soap or sanitizers in the toilets. Park for the kids was adequate for younger children and there is a TV room...

We went to Barleycove in search of the new Star Wars movie and stayed 1 night in the campsite. We had originally planned to stay for 2 nights but while the other half was making a booking over the phone, the lady in reception who took the call thought she heard a dog barking in the background and immediately told...
