We planned to spend 3 nights at Secret Garden but liked it so much that we finally stayed for 6. The place is beautiful, Peter&Pai are perfect hosts taking care of you as if you were family member, the food is great, altogether a highly recommended place and great value. Chiang Mai is only 15 minutes away if you have...

Stayed here for 5 nights recently and can safely say that it is something unique as a place to stay. Peter and his family, and staff make the experience special from the moment you arrive and picked up from the airport, until you leave and are dropped off at the airport. The place is a sanctuary from the hustle and...

Everyone we met while staying at Secret Garden booked due to the great TripAdvisor reviews, and the place did not disappoint. Peter picked us up at the airport and trundled us back to the compound -- we did not know what to expect and were like wide eyed kids as we watched the world go by from the back of...

We spent 5 nights at the Secret Garden and had a wonderful time. Pai and Peter are taking care of their guest in every which way and are always there if you need something. The Secret Garden is bigger now than its website says. Peter build another 5 units around a new pond. These units are great for 3+ parties....

After a long trip thru Southeast Asia, we spent here 4 days. The experience exceeded our expectations. Our spacious little house hided behind the trees of the lush tropical garden. All over the place, you find little pieces of art, which give the hotel a special cosy athmosphere. The owners, Peter and Pai do their utmost to make you feel...

Myself and 6 friends stay in for 3 nights in December 2009. Not luxury but for the price you pay it's one of the best. Peter and Pai will do anything for you. Only complaint is it's a little noisy at night (dogs barking mainly).

The best hosts, meals, value and friendships made during our three week trip to Thailand. Peter and Pai knock themselves out to make this the most welcoming, warm and fun place to stay. All the wonderful breakfasts and dinners prepared by Pai and her staff are served in a central veranda where we made friends from around the world. Staying...

Having never been to Chaing Mai before we stumbled on this gem of a place thanks to Tripadvisor. Firstly Peter and Isabel met us at the airport. A short (15-20) ride and we pulled up to the Spanish villa style walls of Secret Garden. We met a few other travellers, as well as Peter's wife Pai. More gracious hosts you...
