After trying different hotels in Chiang Mai we finally came across secret Garden - the place to be! True- It's outside chiang mai - but that's exactly why we loved it. There is a pick up for free and the rides in the city with the "with cars" are fun. And all the big activities are outside chiang Mai City...

I have stayed at Secret Garden Bungalows three times and love it there every time. It may be a little out of the way, but it is worth it to be away from the tall city buildings and noise of the city proper. Peter, Pai and Isabel are wonderful people, and the bungalows are paradise. Pai's food every night but...

I loved this little sanctuary so much that I decided to write my first review on trip advisor. This is a very friendly and relaxed family run, cosy and hassle free accommodation. I stayed here for three nights after a last minute booking which was pretty random. It's a short ride from Chiang Mai which is actually very nice as...

It is hard to know where to begin when describing this unique and beautiful place. I stumbled across Secret Garden a few years ago, when it was still listed as a Chiang Mai resort and knew immediately that when I eventually brought my family to Thailand, this would be the first place we would stay. It was the best decision...

I wish I could convey how wonderful our stay here was but words can't do it justice. You really have to experience it to understand how magical Secret Garden is. When planning our trip to Chiang Mai, we wanted to stay somewhere outside the city that was beautiful and peaceful, but still close enough that we could conveniently venture back...

Our amazing experience at the Secret Garden has inspired me to write my first TripAdvisor review. I can’t say enough about our lovely stay and the warm welcome we received from our gracious hosts, Peter, Pai and their daughter Isabel. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. We stayed here for three nights...

It is hard to add anything much that hasn't already been said, so let me tell you a bit about our story and how we came to stay here. We like to travel and we like nice hotels and resorts. We have generally avoided smaller boutique resorts on the basis that their facilities are generally not as good as the...

Hi Brenda and Kelvin, Pretty sure it's you, so I hope I got it right! First of all, I need to apologies for not having replied to your beautiful email just yet. I remember that morning as I checked the emails, I read yours, and it brought such a big smile to my face - - I showed my parents...

Isabel, Pai and Peter made our stay in their lovely garden grove both welcoming and enjoyable. This is a lovely property and they make it very easy to come and go into the city of Chiang Mai. We highly recommend it!

Hi Eleanor, Hope you and your family are all doing well. We know that our location is perhaps not ideal to some people, but we are happy you found it easy to go into the city and back. It's not difficult, it just takes a little bit of time sometimes depending on traffic. As you may know, we didn't plan...

We recently had a 4 night stay at this small , personal, gem of a hotel. The bungalows are clean and comfortable, there is a small but useable pool and the buffet style dinner is delicious and served in a family style atmosphere. It's the owners ,Peter, Pai and Isobel that make the Secret Garden special. They were gracious and...

Thanks for taking the time to write a review for us on here. My parents and myself put a lot of care and love into what we do , and it's such a compliment when people appreciate it. The pool is definitely not as big as we would have had it, had we planned to make a resort/homestay from the...

Magical, lush and peaceful property. My family stayed 4 nights at Secret Garden. Loved every minute of this beautiful place. Pai is an amazing cook - food's delicious, fresh and cooked with love. Peter has amazing stories and experiences to share - wonderful to chat with him. And Isabel, their lovely daughter, is a wonderful, smart, and always helpful young...
