I had 5 amazing days in Cuyabeno Amazon forest with Dolphin Lodge. Wellcoming and profesional staff, nice and clean room , good meals... Interesting activities : jungle exploration, animals and vegetation watching (crocodiles, birds, monkeys, dolphins...), night walk, visit of a community , magic sunset in the lagoon.... Perfect place to enjoy the jungle !

We definitely enjoyed our stay here! To our surprise we were the only 2 people staying at the lodge so it definitely made for a more intimate experience. After about a 4 hour boat ride up the Napo River we navigated another hour up the piranha river to the lodge off a beautiful lagoon. This lodge is actually the furthest...

Wow, what a fantastic place in the world. We were efficiently met at Coca airport by our guide, Livio (sorry if I spelt that wrong!) and a short taxi ride later we were at the Napo river and soon on the boat...time passes*...and we were at the lodge. Accommodation was exactly what we dreamed of, basic, made of bamboo and...

We were met off the plane in Coca and looked after well for the balance of the trip. The boat ride to the lodge was interesting. On arrival we were surprised that we were the only guests for the period. The cabins we rustic but comfortable. Lots of hot water. Service and attention from the staff was excellent and food...

We did a 5 day tour and stayed at Amazon Dolphin Lodge. The facilities are very basic but the staff are really nice and the food is delicious (Freddy is a great cook!). I would say that it is definitely overpriced compared to what you get, but that's everywhere in the Amazon. Our guide Libio was nice and knowledgeable, taught...

My husband and 2 of our friends spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Amazon Dolphin Lodge. We traveled from Quito...8 hour bus ride to Coca then a 5 hour motorized canoe ride. The bus was a little rough but I really enjoyed the canoe ride...although it was a little long. When we arrived, we were the only 4...

Excellent Kichwa guide Libios was flexible and very knowledgeable. Newer lodge than sister lodge Yarina, but a little more rustic. Late February was very wet with high water and VERY spotty fishing. The fish move into the flooded jungle and are very scattered. Wildlife was abundant (extremely large troops of Howlers heard in the distance), but did not appear. The...

My friends and I stayed at the Amazon Dolphin Lodge during early February 2013. This establishment is very remote - it took 5 to 7 hrs to get there via a small boat. This was in part due to the low water levels in the Napo River during the dry season. Nonetheless, I thought picking a lodge as far into...
