We stayed here for five nights and had booked 4 rooms. Let me warn you this is an old property which the owner is trying to fix and repair. All rooms were clean and beds were good. Everything worked well in the rooms. The location is perfect in nature, with lots of greenery and hills around and beside a 700 years old man made lake to supply water to Daulatabad. Better alternative than staying in town and pollution. It has hills all around that no 5 star hotel in town can provide. Every morning I woke up and went for short hikes over the hills. The resort can add an activity "Hike the hills" and serve breakfast on one of the hills, of course at extra charge. One could see the Daulatabad fort and chand minar from the resort. Lots of trees but did not see any birds, very strange but common langoors were there. There is also a clean swimming pool. The staff was good and helpful and the dining area next to a small natural water fall was very good to sit out and have candle light dinner. Food was excellent and we had 5 dinners and for each dinner we ordered two different kebabs and all the varieties were different and perfectly cooked. Breakfast was also good. Advantage of staying here one save traveling time to both the locations Ajanta & Ellora caves and stayed away from the pollution of city. We Indians are genetically dirty and could see plastic bottles all the way up the hills. The management should clean up the mess and be little strict with such irresponsible guests. One more thing the management can do is when all are having dinner outside they should switch off all the street lights for 10 to 15 minutes so that all can watch the star filled sky a experience which no luxury hotel can provide in the city. All in all it is a nice clean place with good food and helpful staff. We all enjoyed our stay there. There are tents to live in and one can do camping too but no idea about the camping facilities. When we were there there were 5 tents pegged in the camping ground.…
This is set out to be a glamping experience for Indians, but for westerners it falls short. Bad: Showers are common and don’t work - just squat under a cold water tap Toilets are as expected - squatters with no paper No towels - byo Typical camping mattress on ground and in a tent - but the noise!!! Staff talk loudly well into the night and there is an incessantly barking dog. We slept only because we were exhausted. There is no wifi - is there ever? Good: Has restaurant with good food at restaurant prices The area is clean They supplied an electric cable to charge phones Be warned - this is not luxury or quaint. Know what you are buying and stay for a night, if at all.
Although the resort claims to be under 3 star category, I strongly suggest it should be updated to 5 star category because of its service and food. I planned my wife's surprise birthday dinner here and Hiranya has been more than awesome in accommodating all my requirements. They arranged a perfect candle light dinner with personalised service and extremely curated menu for dinner. Thank you Kanhay and on-ground team of Hiranya for you impeccable service. P.S. the kebabs were truly the star of the evening and were as delicious as you described them.
This is at a distant location from Aurangabad but close to world famous Ellora Caves. The resort offers stay in regular double bed rooms with TV etc.and also in tents. This is at the bottom of a hill full with trees, makes a picturesque view. They offer traditional Hurda during that season. Some elite people hold parties there. The maintenance and cleanliness is just above average. They do have a canteen which serves food for the inmates. Swimming pool exists but without water as it is a water scarce area. Reception is not big but people at reception are helpful. This is located on Dualatabad road which does not have public transport facilities. Do go in your vehicle. Daulatabad fort is stone's throw away. Ellora is closeby.
A wonderful place to visit and spend then night surrounded by nature. you have the daulatabad fort, Aurangazeb tomb and Ellora and Badramaruti near by. A place safe for family and friends. those who want to can stay in tent room or they also have regular rooms. A night spent on a full moon night is magical!!
The service at the hotel was very good. Excellent food both at dinner and breakfast. Clean rooms and cold air conditioners. The pool was cloudy but clean enough. Great place for large groups and would cater great for weddings or functions. Very close to the fort.
Stayed here one night with friends and wish we could stay longer. Beautiful property, comfortable rooms, and most importantly the owners welcomed us like we were old friends, though it was our first time to the area. Our stay here completely made our trip to Aurangabad/Ellora!
Was there for 4 nights along with my wife and grandson. Throughly enjoyed our stay. Hoorda party was a unique experience which is only possible at places like these. Special mention for the staff who was very supportive and helpful. - P. Roongta
An extremely well maintained hillside property which is a perfect choice if you are visiting Ellora, Daulatabad and Aurangabad. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We lived in a tent which was an awesome experience. The sound of birds including ducks was a happy and relaxing experienc. The Hurda festival was a unique experience which we enjoyed a lot.
It was my wedding destination which was planned for 3 days and 2 nights. About hiranya, it is one of a kind place because unlike all the usual resorts it is almost a jungle resort which provides natural & fresh air with quality food. The best place to enjoy with your family, friends & loved ones. The place is as clean as you expect your garden to be. Very beautiful very serene and very very relaxing. A MUST VISIT PLACE!
