This is a fantastic pub which is very old and fantastic inside with a wonderful fireplace complete with an ancient wishing chair. we has e-mailed in advance as we were a party of 11 cyclists looking for somewhere to have a beer and some nice food to recharge our batteries after climbing some very steep hills around North Wales in... Visited this rural pub in Saturday, 4th.January 2014 with two friends. Very welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff. As I was driving I was on Coke so I can't comment on the ales, although my friends were not very impressed. The food however as excellent, I had the steak & ale pie with new potatoes, whilst my mates had the steak... More

We recently visited and stayed at the Red Lion (Llew Coch) due to tracing old family ties in the area. The interior of the bar was worth a 4.5 hour drive to see and experience. Also despite being busy, the food arrived very quickly. I also felt the food was good value for money. The negative point was the service. The staff were unwelcoming and show. On arrival... More

We stayed in the self contained apartment with a mixture of family including a toddler. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. The food was great although do order early if there's a big crowd as we waited a long time due to it all being cooked from scratch. Breakfast was excellent too. The only thing that... More

The room- bed-duvet and chocs... More
