Beautiful, spacious, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. The photos don't do the cottage justice. Well situated in the heart of the Peaks. Only 30 seconds from an A road, so cowardly townies like me can get the farm experience without a scary long journey down a single track lane! Good free wi-fi too

the cottage is beautiful warm and cosy spotlessly clean and Sue is so warm and welcoming we had a great time and would not hesitate to return as we both love the peak district with good walks and beautiful scenery

Spent a great weekend with my wife and dog. Very clean and well equipped cottage. People on the farm are very friendly. There are some great walks very close by. The actual village is well placed to visit some of the main attractions the area has to offer.

Great little farm cottage near Hartington. There are two adjoining cottages, we stayed in Shires Rest, a one bedroom converted barn. Very clean and tidy and dog friendly. About 5 minutes by car from a few pubs that also do meals if you don't want to cook. Good walks directly from the cottage or within a short drive.
