We had heard from high-standard friends about the Rossmount and it didn't disappoint! Our dining experience was certainly a cut above. Fabulous dishes, wonderful staff, a delightful evening out in a gorgeous environment. Don't miss out!! Highly recommended.

Top floor bay view room, as booked, was good, we don’t mind the steps but for anyone who does the creaky floors could be an issue on lower floors.
Wifi poor, had to sit on landing outside room, and no coffee maker in room.
Was very surprised by the quality of bedding. If you are

We were in room 20, a bay view room. Good distance vision is a pre-requisite! There was a king bed squeezed into a recess, with 400-450mm spare room at each side. That’s far too small! Change it to a queen and give people room to move. The position of the room door should have be

Well presented throughout, the décor is new and fresh. The Inn is set in well maintained grounds, the swimming pool is particularly attractive in the evening. Our room overlooked the bay with wonderful views. The restaurant serves freshly prepared food with a varied menu. The Inn

The inviting grounds and exterior did not compensate for the small room and even smaller bathroom. Antique furniture needed restoration. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Ask for a first-level room if you don't want to do the stairs.

I have pet allergies and need a pet free room.
I did not see any pets either while I was there. I would double check with them just in case.

Does anybody know whether the "seasonal" pool is open in September? Also any comments on a Queen Room with Forest View would be appreciated. Thanks.
I cannot answer your question concerning the pool but can comment on room. My wife and I stayed in one of the queen rooms with a forest view. We were quite pleased. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. There were chairs to lounge in, a dresser, and a dressing table/desk with chair. My wife has back problems and it is rare for her to sleep well when we travel, but she slept throughout the night waking refreshed here. Very comfortable.
