We had overnight stay at Hotel tourist. The hotel was ok, but since it is on main road, we couldnot get sound sleep as there was noise of vehicles plying on road all the time. Breakfast was ok. Restaurant is costly. Hotel should have sound proof glass windows.

We thoroughly enjoyed stay at Tourist. Everything was perfect. The hotel's room service food was really great. We dined in the Courtyard Restaurant at Hotel. My elder son said the chicken kabab were the best ever. The breakfast was top notch, and dinner was really nice as well.

Hotel Tourist never lets you down on any basics. They have always kept a standard quality for a comfortable stay. We had initially stayed here for one month on business and later came back with my family. The food is good, the rooms are decent and the staff is exceptional, particularly Deepak Kumbhar. With a polite smile and an ever accommodating hospitable attitude, Deepak added the cherry on the cake for our stay. Kudos to him and hotel Tourist!

We are at Tourist Hotel for celebrating my friend's birthday. We ordered vegetarian food for dinner. But food is served after 30 minutes waiting. After that we gave order of 3 rotis & then we were waiting for 40 minutes for it. After 40 min they served only 2 rotis. Then we ordered rice, again story is the same. Never seen this kind of service before. Pathetic service from them.

I had an emergency trip to Kolhapur and needed a decent budget hotel. Some friends suggested staying at Hotel Tourist. I arrived late in the evening and the stay was for 1 night only. My friend had already made a reservation for me. The room originally booked was a non AC room. I was shown 6 vacant rooms in the category to choose from. I have yet to see more filthy bathrooms (the WCs were black and probably not cleaned for weeks) the linen was dirty and the furniture old, torn and worn out. Surprisingly all 6 rooms were more or less of the same quality. So I decided that I would not stay there as I was not looking at leaving with some horrible infection. The Front office staff Sanjay was a really nice and helpful guy. I think the only positive experience that I had in the place. He offered to show me higher category room which was AC. And suggested that if I really did not like any of them he would move me to another property. I was shown 3 rooms. Again the WCs this time were dark brown and the linen a tad better than the cheaper rooms. The difference in rate between the 2 categories was more than 100%. There was 1 room which was 'decently clean' and since it was already late and I was in an unknown city and was looking to stay for just 1 night I thought to just take it. The AC did not work, and there was no answer from the Front desk when I called to complain. There was no hot water in the morning. Again the linen was filthy and luckily I had my own towel etc so I did not use the hotel linen at all. Overall the hotel is old, run down and no one cares (except Sunjay who really understands customer satisfaction and tried very hard not to lose a customer). The public toilets, Musafir Khanas and Yatri Nivas options which come at a fraction of this cost are way more clean and comfortable. Would not recommend anyone to go there unless you are ok to leave sick from there.

Hotel Tourist is approx 10 mins away from Pune Bangalore highway in City center. It has ample parking space for cars and looks are of a typical motel style. Check-in was easy. Initially room allotted had issues of hot water but upon mentioning this issue with reception desk, Room was gladly changed. Water bottle along with Tea / Coffee maker was provided along with kit. Room was basic with all required amenities. Staff were nice and helpful. Overall a comfortable stay. Good for a day's stay.

In March 2017 I had posted a review about this hotel/restaurant with title - "Degrading quality and service, but still has time to survive". But it seems that the time is up and this place is a total mess now. We were supposed to catch a bus, and I went to this place with my family. As usual the restaurant staff was chichatting around the tables. We ordered methi paratha, and it was a really bad. The paratha was supposed to be stuffed by methi and spices, but what came on our table was a simple dry roti with dry methi leaves on top of it. It was very bitter. They forgot to serve it with curd so I had to ask for it. After that we didn't wish to order anything else. So I asked for the bill n paid it. I was waiting for change to come back. It came but the waiter kept some amount of change for himself as a TIP. Self-appraisal! The restaurant is not worth visiting at all. I can give 0 or even negative stars to it. Worst experience of my life.
