Stayed here as part of a small tour group. Rooms were very comfortable. Great shower. Restaurant offered quite an extensive Indian menu. Also some Chinese dishes. Food was very good but service in restaurant was very mixed. Hotel was reasonably priced and majority of guests were either visiting Udopi or on courses with the Banks nearby.

Good location. Smooth check in. spacious comfortable room. Tea maker in the room. Complementary water bottle, complementary buffet breakfast. Excellent house-keeping service. What else does one needs?
Couldn't give 10 out of 10 for two shortcomings. Food was served in cheap melamine plates and there were hardly any watchable channel on t.v

Again stayed for a week at this hotel whose services are very good. Their in house Restra called Madhuvan veg serves excellent north and south indian food in good ambience. The kadai Paneer and Phulkas are awesome. Even the buffet breakfast is a fairly good spread with multiple options which keep changing everyday. The housekeeping staff is very efficient, so also those manning reception especially Mr Reggi Phillips.

Positives - spacious room, reasonable A/C, bottle of water in room at checkin, rooms appeared clean
Negatives - minimal hot water for bathing, uncomfortable bed, noisy (!!!), promised complementary breakfast was minimalistic and largely inedible, promised 'toiletries' = bar of soap only, internet frequently interrupted, many staff couldn't seem to answer questions, power interruptsion occurred frequently during my stay.
Overall, the 3-star rating is a farce (fair = 2-star). This is not a high end hotel, not even mid-level. The online reviews appear to have been written by the hotel itself because what I wrote above was agreed to by others with whom I spoke. I've been in worse hotels, but

Quaint lodge situated near tiger circle in manipal. Over the years the lodge lost its charm due to competition in an around. Avoided the free complementary breakfast due to better choices in an around. The free internet provided was super slow. Apart from a couple of few english language news channel nothing else was available. The lodge massively relies on cheap group bookings from tourists/ local bank training staff.

This is a great hotel to stay in Manipal. With 24 hours stay time which is very flexible when compared to other hotels having a check in time at 12 or 2 pm. Very supportive staff and comfy rooms. Looking forward for the next stay! Hope they continue giving good prices!

Travelling solo and the staff have been kind, courteous and very helpful. I had a delayed check out which was brilliant and helped me leave my bags safe whilst I waited for onward transport. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Reception staff excellent. I would visit again

This is a real nice hotel with relaxed hapoy staff. Breakfast is fantastic. Room is very spacious. Bath room had 24 hour hot water available. Room service is prompt. They need to provide electronic in room safe for customers.

Unforgettable stay at this Hotel.. My second time. Superb Room and well-maintained. The complimentary Breakfast served was really great. They have got a very good service too. Very much close to Tiger circle and the MANIPAL University.

Stayed in presidential Suite with my extended family. Very spacious and well-kept rooms and the restaurant is just the next door. The food quality is good as well and the place is in good proximity to all major attractions in Udupi
