We stayed in suite 3 at the end of the row of these very nice suites. The setting, between a small private lake and the seafront, is very nice. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. The location is great for peace and quiet generally, although the connecting door between the suites is not very sound proof. There are good...

We spent 3 lovely nights at The Waters as part of our honeymoon around the South Island. The location is stunning - right on the water to the front and a lake to the back and amongst a beautiful olive grove. Although it wasn't too much of a problem, it is a good 15 min drive to the nearest decent...

Simply put......The Waters represents the best of New Zealand, from the scenery to how nice Phil and Claire are. We recently stayed with two young children a week at The Waters exploring the Abel Tasman region. In a nutshell, this place offers all you want to have. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, with beautiful sea views. Breakfast is catered to individual needs. And Clare and Phil are great hosts, always happy to recommend restaurants to visit or nearby...

The Waters has an attractive setting with the units overlooking a pond and short walk to the beach. The interior is ok but lacks anywhere to put two small wheeled bags. The towels were the roughest I have ever used anywhere. The breakfast is do it yourself with the ingredients they provide and very little space to prepare. When I...

Hello and thank you for posting a review on trip advisor. I am pleased that you thought The Waters located in an attractive setting. However you do raise some issues that I would like to comment on. I am surprized that you thought there was no space where to put 2 small wheeled suitcases as there is plenty of space,...

The rooms are gorgeous featuring floor to ceiling glass on both sides - one side looks towards a pond and the other is a spectacular view of the ocean. The...

Hello Thank you for the lovely review of The Waters. I am very pleased that you found the location and the suites to your liking. I know that your little one was unusually unsettled during your stay here and it suited all concerned to offer you something else. We are definately improving the sound proofing between the suites by an...

The Waters is a wonderful property. The modern bungalows are spacious and nicely appointed. The king size bed is incredibly comfortable.
