owner was friendly, room was nice and clean. the only disadvantages were the bed, mattress very uncomfortable and seemed to slant a lot. the other issue was getting bitten by flea bites so the previous occupants must of had pets

My mum and I stayed here for 2 nights recently as I had to come a long way for a hospital procedure, we had the loft room which was lovely. My boyfriend booked us in to The Lakeside, after trying many others who were all full, for a 1 night stay. I am really glad that they were all fully booked and we found this beautiful B&B. The management were friendly, the hotel was spotless and the views were breathtaking, overlooking the boating lake, the sea and the industrial estate....

I booked a room for my family at The Lakeside on a whim and was really surprised by what we got. Once we got there the lady greeted us at the reception and took payment. She was friendly and polite and explained that we would need a parking pass that was £10 that would be refunded once it was returned....
