Probably had the worst carvery I've ever had here. To be as fair as possible, we did go 15 mins before the carvery ended, and that's why I'm not giving 1 star. With black burnt Yorkshire puddings and watery soggy roast potatoes I was left feeling sick after wrongly choosing to eat them. With the carvery costing around £8 per... More

When I booked the hotel for a five night stay I explained we would be arriving late, no problem I was told as the desk is manned 24 hours. Parked car in car park knocked on back door as that was nearest only to greeted by miserable man asking why we didn't go round the front, and had he been... More

Lovely staff always willing to help, room was great - sea view, warm but not too hot. We would definitely go back if we were in the area. The only drawbacks were the car park which was small - on arrival we had to park on the road as it was full - and the water in the bathroom was... More

The staff were very pleasant, the bar food was good old type bar food. My room looked out onto the sea, The decor was a bit tired as was the bed etc. The bathroom although had a nice bug bath, I would have preferred it to have had a walk in shower.

Stayed for a weekend in February for a friend's wedding. The hotel's easy to find right on the sea front and 5 minutes walk from various bars and restaurants. With parking to the rear yhe hotel doesn't look too much from the outside but (although nothing special) the inside is very clean, well maintained and friendly. There are no lifts... More

Book 1 night to visit family so chose to book a sea view suite as a treat but was very disappointed with our room for the price we paid. The only good thing was the sea view. The room itself was large but very sparse on furniture, the bed was a small double four poster but no curtain trim just... More

The hotel is on the seafront at Redcar which is nice but chilly in winter, the car park at the rear is adequate unless there is a function on. WIFI was good. My first room was ok although as I opened the window to let some air in, the room immediatly filled with cigarette smoke. The smoking area is next... More

Booked out a room for a family Christmas meal and I was amazed by how disappointing the experience was not at all festive, placed in a miserable room. Had to wait a long time for staff to come and take our orders, having to go to the bar cause staff refused to take drinks orders insisting they did not have... More
