Stayed here for one night. Made very welcomed by Clive who was very informative of the room facilities. The B&B is very central to active pities in the area and is surrounded by greats views/country side. A couple of Micro Breweries are sited in the town also.

Stayed here for two nights. Friendly owners, nice room, good breakfast. Had a very relaxed stay which was just what I needed! Close to the centre of BC which is one of my favourite places to spend a weekend. Thanks very much!

Booked The Poppy House as we had a party to go to in Bishop's Castle. Greeted by lovely friendly people and the rooms were immaculate. Its a quirky, quaint ,old and characteristic place to stay . A party of four , the men had full English and I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs . Everything was piping hot and...

The breakfast alone is worth the stay! But yes, it also has lovely rooms, and a great homely feel. I noticed feather bedding and asked if there was any chance of something different due to my allergies and the lady was more than helpful. Changing the entire bedding. Super little place, superb price, we will be back!

This guest house suited me perfectly for my one night stay. Large room with heritage features and ample facilities. The bathroom had a powerful shower which uniquely had an ancient wooden beam running a couple of inches above your head! Helpful to have a fridge (with honesty bar included). The neighbouring Town Hall clock tower chimes the quarter hour, but...

We stayed on a mid-week 3 nights for 2 deal for the second time, mainly due to its excellent location for walking in this part of South Shropshire. Value for money was excellent. The b&b and café is well run by friendly hosts Clive, Julie and Lynn. This historic building has a lot of character and is well located in...

My husband and a friend recently stayed at this bed and breakfast for a walking holiday. The rooms were large and comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a thoughtful addition was a mini bar in the room that you could purchase drinks from if required. Breakfast was served downstairs in the cafe with good food and a...

Parts of the building are 800 years old, built on the foundations of the old castle. The room was well presented and clean, the bathroom was more than acceptable. You have to accept this is an old building on several slightly different levels and uneven floors which could present a problem to a person with mobility issues there are also...

We stayed for two nights and had a great time. The room and the service was of very high quality and couldn't be faulted. The staff are very friendly. The place is much better than their website suggests. -the decor and furnishings have been changed and upgraded since the photos were taken. The building is very old and characterful with...
