went as a group of 25 ,friendly staff ,excellent value for money. you really need to book a table as they are often fully booked. large menu and specials board giving plenty of variety.some of the starters are the size of a main so make sure you're hungary when you visit.

We stayed on the campsite, the pub served our large group breakfast and dinner. Breakfast..... One lady in the kitchen..... 20 hungry blokes..... All served a hot breakfast with a smile. Dinner...... This is where you'll need a spare stomach. The food is great and plentiful. I had the steak and Stilton pie which had plenty of succulent gristle free...

We have eaten here before and always returned as the food and staff are always great, however, tonight there seems to be an awful lot of very young children shouting and screaming, so much so that we struggled to hear one another over the shrieks. I noticed another couple on the next table felt the same way as we did....

Called in at this pub Saturday evening, part of a coach trip, had Fish n Chips & mushy peas. This should be a basic meal for any pub, most can't get it right or daft prices, have to say this was lovely, as good a chips that I have had, promptly served, think it was £8.25, well worth it.

This gastro pub is situated in some of Shropshire's most beautiful countryside.Although it is in a small village it appears very popular. As we entered on a Saturday evening there was a notice saying they were fully booked that evening. The menu offers a good selection of pub grub & snacks. Staff are helpful & friendly. The pub is wheel chair...

I had fish chips and mushy peas with onions first evening and it was stunning the batter tasted amazing better than any fish and chip shop I've eaten at lately. On Saturday...

Went with hubby, older daughter and we also had 3 toddlers with us, food was very hot, served quite quickly, the veg soup was just amazing, really nicely cooked steaks, salmon was cooked to perfection, kids enjoyed all of the food....my only criticism is that the portions are rather large😀. Hate wasting food, but felt like we were over eating...

What a lovely pub quite off the beaten track, but quite busy inside. We decided on the grilled salmon with asparagus in white sauce,I had jacket potato and mixed veg, my husband had salad and chips. The food is all cooked using fresh ingredients, no micro-waving, so there was a little wait, but well worth it. The atmosphere is relaxed...
