We just returned from 4 wonderful nights at the Hotel San Rocco. The hotel was beautiful and utterly charming! We had dinner our first night in their hotel restaurant and it was excellent! There was a nice spread for breakfast every morning, and it was wild asparagus season so they made us eggs with the asparagus each morning! We also...

After reviewing my TripAdvisor reviews I saw that my absolute favorite hotel in Croatia is missing! San Rocco is top both for the hotel and the food. I love the setting, in a small village, not on the coast, very tranquil and not at all touristy. The hotel is a refurbished old typical farm/village stone house. It houses one of...

As far as hotel part is concerned, the little family run establishment, one of the first and definitely still the best in Croatia, has set very high standards for both room design and kind and efficient service. Hotel's own parking lot in front big enough to accommodate a full house during the season. The wellness part in adjacent building is...

Even as we stayed only for night and earlier morning, beauty of side seeing, hotel accommodation and hotel employees have been excellent. Small but well equipped SPA with indoor pool has been excellent pleasures to continue our trip cross Istria. We suggest this place for all of ones who need tranquil and romantic weekend. We will for sure visit it...

The main thing that realy boders us was the breakfast. For the Hotel like that unfortunately to avarage, with a limited selection and varies of food.We had also dinner...

San Rocco is a nice little hotel in a small village. It has the charme of a Tuscany style country side hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful and the service good. The rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. They have small pool, which however would need to be cleaned more often. Breakfast is adequate, but could be better, considering that...

A lovely rural setting to make a base and explore the region. Lovely obliging staff and a very relaxing atmosphere. The food was very good for the region. Warm homely feel, spotlessly clean and I am happy to recommend it.

The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel is in an ideal place to explore the region of Istria, this was our first visit to Croatia and we were captivated by its charm. We were away for a week and spent the first four nights at the San Rocco. The village is small and was fairly quiet, we...

Restful place, run with love, where every detail is taken care off. Plentitude of opportunities for hiking, biking, seaside activities if you are more of a sport type, or alternatively laying in the sun around outdoor swimming pool, going for sauna, or doing sightseeing of lovely ancient Istrian fortified cities. The rooms are clean, lovely decorated, surrounding is quite, no...
