Camping Les iles ,offer the beautiful look at the Mont Blanc.Grand St Bernard and
the surrounding mountains,
The camping incline to be noisy, the unpleasant odor from the waste recycle plant
near by,at the hedge of motorway junction,
The Chalet are not worth the money charge for ,no service no utility provided.
But Aosta valley is must to visit.

I was very disappointed about this campsite. The toilets are very basic (only woman have normal toilets) and not clean, it smells a lot. The shower costs 1 euro and has only 15 liters of water, but the first minute the water is cold en the last minute it is very hot. The pool is very dirty, it has green water. The staff doesn't speak english, only a little french. Only good thing is that the surrounding is beautiful.

We stayed for 3 nights in Aosta with our tent. We found the reception staff friendly and found a common ground in speaking French (poorly from my part) together as I spoke no Italian and they did not speak English.
The site looks a little tired, dated, but it is functional and kept clean, level pitches well protected from wind and direct sun with plenty of tree shade. I've never camped in Italy before so I don't know what the standard is comparatively.

We didn't eat in the bar but there were plenty of people there so it must be reasonable! Instead we drove into Aosta and found some lovely places at affordable prices.

A lovely Dutch couple were camping next to us and they came here every year to go walking and loved it.

I'm sure when we return to Aosta we will stop again here.

I can suggest you to test some typical regional meals in the restaurant of the camping. You can also test a pizza of large dimension. The dimension of each dish can satisfy also very hungry people after a tracking day.

When we reached this site it was quite obvious that it was the end of the season. Everything was overgrown and the toilet block and seen better days. Staff very friendly though. Had a long journey across Italy and were intending to stay a couple of days before the challenge of the Mont Blanc Tunnel. Only stayed the one night.
