Our stay was really lovely! From the moment we got there, we knew it was more than just a hotel! The family that owns it also lives in the building and her Grandmother makes a lot of the food for breakfast - it just felt very special. The breakfast is SPECTACULAR! There were gluten free things for myself (an amazing variety) and plenty of options for every type of eater! The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The beds and pillows could be a little softer or with a mattress pad but it was just fine! It is still really close to town, just a few minute drive! Very quiet out in the country but within waling distance of a few very good restaurants!

We were so sad to leave - it was wonderful!

My dad, son and I spent three wonderful days at Lo Teisson in early July. The hotel is set in the charming Italian village of Pollein just about ten minutes drive out of Aosta. We loved this experience so much! It is quiet, charming and very local experience with no tourists and a nice refuge from Aosta. Vivian and her mother are lovely hosts and we enjoyed learning all about the family history of the place. The rooms were nice and the breakfast a treat. If you are really looking for a real Italian experience than this is the place to be! There are plenty of great dining options walking distance from the hotel. We loved it here!

We stayed at Lo Teisson in Pollein near Aosta on the way from France across to Asolo. With easy parking and in a beautiful setting this was a great place to stay if only for one night. We were warmly welcomed by the host, and her family. The room was clean and quiet with everything we needed. The breakfast with many things made by the host was delicious. We were there on the night of the Christmas markets in Aosta so ventured out on a cold wintery night - it was well worth it. Also took up our hosts recommendation for dinner at a small restaurant in Aosta. All in all a great but short stay. Would highly recommend this.

only six rooms but in a quiet suburb of Aosta [5 minute drive to city center] .. we found the hotel to be charming and handy to the Aosta area,,, a pleasant surprise was the a/c... seems to work best on the lower floors... what's really neat are the two restaurants 200 meters walk,, one fish and the other local food,,, hard to beat if you want something different and would like to eat like a 'local'... The hotel is family run and the family is quite attentive,, we would 'highly recommend' Lo Teisson... an enjoyable stay... ska

For my wife and I, “Lo Teisson” was the difference between a good trip and an amazing one! Viviana, the owner, was kind and exceptionally helpful when it comes to choosing the places to see and eat in the entire Aosta valley. We’ve been to many B&B’s across Europe and Lo Teisson definitely stands out.
As for the usual technicalities:
- Breakfast is superb! A variety of fresh and locally-produced cheese, ham, sausage and pastry (along with other standard breakfast goodies).
- Rooms are cosy, super-clean and tidy.
- Location is ideal for anyone with a rental car - Pollein (the village) is peaceful and quite, yet less than 10 minutes drive from Aosta’s busy center, and up to 40 minutes drive from any other notable location in Aosta valley (inc. Mont-blanc).

It was an extremely good esexperience in every regard! Location and view are excellent. Service beyond expectations! We arrived well after closing time, but we there was somebody waiting for us with a big smile and welcoming words! The hotel is very nice with generous rooms and bathrooms. Very nice decorated reflecting the area. The breakfast (included) was fabulous! The only regret we spent just one night here😔

We chose this small hotel as a stop off on our return road trip from a weeks holiday in Tuscany. The hotel is situated in the beautiful Aosta Valley in Northern Italy (not far from Mont Blanc Tunnel)
The family run hotel has just 6 rooms but is charming in appearance both inside and out. Our room was clean, very comfortable with a more than adequate breakfast provided. Parking available.
We would fully recommend staying here, if like us for just for the one night, or as a centre if wishing to spend more time exploring the beautiful surrounding Italian Alpine countryside

We stopped here on e night on a trip to the Italian Lakes. The building is really characterful, but with modern conveniences and amenities. The receptionist was very friendly as were all the people (family?) we met, despite our appalling Italian language skills!
The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was a buffet style with a selection of cold meats, cheeses, pastries and other local produce. I very much hope to return for longer next time

Stayed only one night in this excellent B&B on our 1st night in Italy. Our host was welcoming, very friendly and spoke great English. The room (#6) was spacious, spotless and quiet. Air conditioning was controllable too - I like to sleep in a cool room. Great breakfast with some treats from the hosts garden. It's quite a walk into Aosta, so a brief drive will be necessary.
