Mitali Home stay is one of the finnest experience not only in terms of stay but its food, people and ambiance. Thank you, dear reviewer, for your appreciation of Mitali and its Homestays, and for your very kind words on our own performance and behaviour as hosts. As our family home, Mitali holds a special place in our lives and sentiments, and it makes the response of people to this home they share, however fleetingly, especially personal and make us particularly...

A brilliantly comfortable place. Extremely friendly people who cook outstanding food. Rooms are large, sunny, airy and air conditioned for that all important creature comfort. The usual cliche of nestled in the lap of nature is a truism here. As added bonus there are book cases filled with books ranging from Russell to Rushdie. A great place to relax, kick...

This is one of the best places to stay in Shantiniketan. The way the owner has maintained the property is commendable. Rooms are really cozy and Bhab Kutir is really nice. They have a huge collection of books and have a mini library in every room. The food is also very good. For sight seeing they will arrange a cab...

Beautiful architecture, excellent maintenance, amazing food, effective and efficient. Memorable experience. We stayed at the suite. Best option as valued the private terrace and the kitchen. Our upbringing has been in Kolkata, always wanted to visit Shantiniketan. Accomplished now ... thanks to the accomodation and vegetarian food options at Mitali. Super thanks. Will visit again and again.

Stay away from this property and it's owner (Mr. Krishno). He may start abusing you from the time of making any booking enquiry.. I made one and he responded with a rate quote (No booking/ commitment was given from either side). Due to some personal exigency, I had to change my travel plan. When the same was communicated to the...

There are 6 rooms in the home stay, all of which are beautifully done up and are very neat and clean. The villa is located a little away from...

What a wonderful and loving couple. I sincerely enjoyed playing carram with Krishno and the rest of the guests at the house. It's a bit rustic at the home, and there's definitely some charm to the house. The food was absolutely amazing. I loved the fact that we were in one of the most interesting cities in India due to...

Lovely place amidst nature. Very calm, peaceful and tranquil surroundings with generous care and attention from the hosts made for a memorable stay. Plenty of flowers and plants is a botanist's delight. The home cooked food (mostly from home grown vegetables) was delicious. The hosts Krishno and Sukanya were very helpful and took excellent care of the guests. We were...
