Stayed here with family on 23rd and 24th of January. Booked two rooms a month back thinking that this hotel is of not the best atleast ok for a night stay. To our horror, it was worst that we could even dreamt of. Rooms are of worst condition, cannot lock main door, gap between the frame and the door even after locking the door extremely dirty all over the resort. Full of mosquitoes all over, stagnant water which is black completely. Den of mosquitoes. Please refer pictures and decide by yourself. We spoiled our vacation and if you wish the same you too stay here
This is a highly overpriced hotel, with very little cleanliness, or attention paid to basics. The rooms, and reception area, smells of moss; because they haven't been cleaned. The couches are dusty. The furniture is old. In our room, the toilet was in such a cramped portion, it was difficult to sit. It was full of mosquitoes, and so was the room. We asked for a change of room. The next one, had a flush that whistled, and had to be taped, for silence. The packed bottles of drinking water in the room, aren't new. They are refilled, with water, from the tap, even during covid19. We were shocked. The restaurant is badly lit, and is musty. There are urinals, and not toilets near the swimming pool, and they stink. The photos mislead people, to think, this is a charming resort. The gardens are dirty, and dry. I can go on. The entire place feels like it has been neglected, or is running a loss, and the sindhi owner is perhaps searching for someone to buy it. Im Highly disappointed, and even angry at the indifference of the staff, and management.…
I booked three double rooms from 31 st Dec/2020 to 3rd Jan/2021. But I had to literally leave the hotel on 2nd Jan/2021 due to very very poor experience. I understand the ubiquitous excuse of postpandemic. But what pandemic has to do with mosquitoes in the room, no room heater, no intercom service, no mosquito repellents, smelling blankets, frog inside room crocking and many more. There is virtually no room service at all. Nobody responded to any requests. TV was not functioning at all. It was nightmare for children. I discovered a snake in the garden too and showed them. Only silverlining was a man called NASIR who tried his best but one warrior can not win a battle.
We a family of 3 visited the hotel end November 2020. First the pros: 1) excellent location near the University 2) lots of open space 3) Courteous staff 4) Excellent food specially the Posto Bora Cons: 1) Need a lot of maintenance as all the taps, gadgets and doors are showing signs of wear and tear 2) the hotel and smells as if it’s a case of losing focus from the management
The hotel is rather pricey in all respects. Ill kept premises. One could notice pools of water accumulated at various corners which were breeding ground for mosquitoes. But the location of the hotel is advantageous, it is quite near to Sriniketan. Our room was tidy and the bathroom was clean, one could always get running hot water. But the driver's room was horribly dirty and so was his toilet. The staff was indifferent and suggested him to compromise. So if you are taking your car and looking for driver's accommodation (which is charged) better be careful.
