This is a nice and comfortable stay within a moderate budget.....neat and clean rooms.....view from our room is like heaven....washroom is quite ok.....but the caretakers are too lazy and dont know the how to serve their guests....
This is a good hotel in this area. We stayed here for a night and were satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and the service of the staff. Food options were many and good. No complains in any respect.
I have been there for 3 days from 4th of this month. Caretaker Krishna of such a well located "Home Stay" is a very good and helpful person, he is very courteous without having any expression on his face. His wife Mamata is excellent in cooking; the food she serves is less spicy and bears the feeling of having the meal in our own home. At Rs. 100 per meal how can she serve a fish meal or chicken meal (Rs. 200 for a meal with pulse, vegetables, salad and mutton curry) of such a good quality is really having a question mark before me. Rooms are well arranged, airy with sufficient sun light. But if a guest needs comfortable (not luxurious) toilet, he or she should avoid this place as the space and arrangement of the toilets are intolerably uncomfortable.
Excellent accommodation option for spending 2-3 peaceful days @ Shantiniketan. Located amidst Vishwa Bharati Campus, you get to visit all the tourist places by TOTO(Tuk-Tuk). Though limited options in the menu it's great in taste and light on the pocket. Must Visit.
Home away from home.. the place give you such a homely feeling with so nicely done guest rooms at first floor with large glass window overlooking to lush green outside. The caretaker is a nice person, with his wife cooking great home food. Nice location, pretty much at the center of all attractions, yet on a very calm lane.
