Busy place. Service exceptionally good. Food amazing. Beautiful views towards St Michaels Mount. Loved the fish bites to share. As we were a large party most of the menu was sampled - no complaints at all - in fact just the opposite.

We came for takeout coffees and it wasn't too busy. Space was great and warm after a walk across the causeway, but we must've waited over 15 mins for 3 coffees. Nicely presented but not quick enough. I'd come back for a seat by the window some time. Really pretty views.

Our first visit to Marazion and St Michaels Mount. We were blessed with lovely sunny but cold weather so we're pleased to be given a table in the window. The staff were friendly and efficient. The good was delicious and plenty of it. We would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant and we will return when next in the...

Stayed for one night and were upgraded to a room with a sea view I guess because it wasn't that busy in November. We did have a lovely room with a view of St Michaels Mount. The bed was fabulously big and comfortable. The room itself was OK and made us wonder what the standard rooms were like. Everything looked...

When I first visited this place it was dark, the white wine was warm and it was a horrible experience. Then one winter there was investment and it became a place of decent food, chilled wine and decent views. Recently there has been a change the menu is odd (you can't get steak and chips!), the food has changed and...

When visiting Penzance go to this restaurant, the scenery is beautiful, service very good and food amazing. We had a brilliant experience from start to finish. Menu had lots of variety, there is a set menu, daily specials and a everyday menu.

Stunning location overlooking St Micheal's mount. Our room was the large one in the roof overlooking the mount so we woke to great views every morning. All staff were very pleasant and attentive. Food was good and reasonably priced so we ate here every night. For our tastes the only improvement to this hotel would be a proper lounge area...

As a regular patron of this venue for both business and social reasons I recently had the opportunity to stay overnight as I had an event on the Mount to attend. I was fortunate to be put in room 6 which has a living room and a roof terrace with a view across Mounts Bay to St Michaels Mount. The...

We have just eaten for the second time this week at The Godolphin Arms and on both occasions it was a really enjoyable experience. Both times we had dogs with us and it was no problem. On the second visit we were expecting to be directed downstairs but were told we might feel out of it, so assuming our dogs...

This restaurant is in a stunning location overlooking Mounts Bay,and provides excellent meals at a price that won't break the bank. It is modern and bright and is child friendly. The menu is varied, and includes afternoon Cornish cream tea and cakes.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
