Another great hotel on our 6 week road trip of UK. We always arrive early evening, got the last room. Nice young guy at reception. Excellent accommodation + large bathroom. Our room was spotless which is all you can ask for Highly recommend

Stayed for two nights in Mid February 2017. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout the visit. The food was excellent and served in a restaurant with beautiful views. Dogs are allowed in a separate part of the restaurant but this is not the usual back of the room by the toilet door but a lower section with...

My partner and I visited The Godolphin Arms and were initially shocked by the price of food, however we were prepared to give it a go. I ordered a pint of Padstow Windjammer, it was served with bits floating in it. Although I was offered a different beer after being told that my original choice would need an hour to...

Our family live quite locally. I live in Helston, twelve miles away, my sister lives in Longrock, just down the road. We used to go to the Godolphin Arms on a fairly regular basis. The staff are brilliant. Lulu, Jeffery and all of whom I can't remember their names. I have one or two gripes: the bar prices or extortionate,...

Arrived here for a one night stay with our seven year old daughter and little black dog, and we were immediately made to feel very welcome. Our room was no. 11 right at the top of the hotel with an amazing round window in which we could sit and look out over the bay! A giant family bed, two bunks...

It's clear from my previous reviews that I have felt the Godolphin Arms to be very special. I hope that our last stay, with friends, was some almighty malfunction not to be repeated!!! We have no complaints with our rooms... except for the lack of the view that is part of the magic. The Mount was in darkness!! This was...

This place has changed, probably very good if you are going for a meal but to enjoy a family drink in the winter sun forget it, at least 5 waitress serving tables nobody behind the bar, people waiting and not one person acknowledged any of us to at least apologise for the wait.

Popped in here after walking over to St Michaels Mount, have used this hotel often over the years for a drink, friendly staff ( but it sometimes feels a bit mechanical rather than cosy, probably because its always busy). 2 well appointed modern bars but sometimes it's rather vague where you can sit to just have a drink ( possibly...

We visited as a large family group with two small children. The food was fantastic and the service exceptional. Our waiter, Jeffery, was the best we have ever ever had. He was so attentive but unobtrusive and he couldn't have been more helpful. He made our day and is a credit to the organisation.

With stunning views of St Michaels Mount and coastline, the restaurant offers a good choice of food and drinks, service was very good, staff friendly and polite. Good quality food, will return😀. Also lovely in Summer to take in the wonderful views.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Godolphin Arms is on the water’s edge of Mount’s Bay along a two mile stretch of beach in the historic market town of Marazion, West Cornwall. It overlooks the beautiful St Michael’s Mount, with one of the most magnificent beachside views in the country.Following a major renovation inside and out, the Godolphin Arms has recently reopened its doors unveiling a warm and welcoming beachside inn – a place to eat, drink or stay and explore the unspoilt beauty of the South West coast. Our stunning coastal location has inspired the design, bringing the natural beauty of the beach outside in with relaxed, mellow living spaces and a stunning centrepiece - a two storey light-bathed glass and zinc dining area opening out onto a balcony upstairs and a terrace downstairs. Walk straight in off the beach to our colourful and chilled-out beach bar, linger on the beachside terrace with friends or relax and unwind on the comfy sofas and chairs by the woodburner. Eating at the Godolphin Arms is a relaxed and informal affair and we offer an all-day menu to be enjoyed whatever the occasion or mood. Our food philosophy is simple; we want to provide freshly cooked food that tastes delicious, is beautifully presented and showcases the quality and seasonality of local Cornish produce.Whether you choose to eat, drink or stay in one of our ten en-suite bedrooms, the team will be delighted to welcome you and will do all they can to ensure your stay with us is both memorable and enjoyable. ... more   less
