We are spending a few days in Langudoc, near to Aragon. We booked Saturday evening meal here. a simply wonderful experience. everything from the moment you arrive until you leave were memorable. At the table we had a selection of home made nibbles, olives, mushroom paste, small crispy gateaux, soft cheese and divine home made bread. The set menu followed...

We had the 29€ menu which included amuse bouches, petit fours and hors d'ouvres as well as a glass of wine and coffee. It was good value BUT the quality/lack of originality of the food was very disappointing. We requested the main course lamb well cooked for one of us and pink for the other, but there was very little...

Excellent personal attention, very caring people, explained everything super friendly and the presentation of food was purely divine ! Home made creamy white butter, artisan bread. A quirky addition of a red wine aereator on the table. Great atmosphere, probably suit couples very well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Bergerie. The setting is rural and very pretty, rooms are clean and well equipped and the hotel is well located near to Carcassonne. We did not have dinner but the menu looked very inviting.

Small family owned hotel. The owner is also the chef in the hotels good restaurant. Located not far from Carcasonne. Very quiet. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Offer views of the surrounding countryside. Nice swimmingpool for the kids. The restaurant serves very good food based on local recipies and produce. Familly owners are very friendly and service minded.

We phoned ahead for a table for a Saturday lunch. It wasn't actually necessary but we were reassured. We were greeted by a really nice/friendly waiter and seated promptly ... and with a view. Our apero order was taken and a disarmingly simple lunch menu presented. The choices were impressive and presented wonderful choices. The crab dish starter was amazing...

We ate here a few years ago and enjoyed that so much that we made a special trip from Beziers to eat there again. The chef is Fabien Galibert and the restaurant is run by his wife Priscilla. Both are excellent by any standards, food and service is first class. All of this is delivered in an upscale, but very...

What a beautiful place! We wanted to go to Carcassonne, but didn't want to stay in the hectic old town, so we chose la bergerie, 10 km away and in the middle of the mountains. I don't even know where to begin complementing this places. They allowed us to bring our dogs (two 36kg dogs) which for us is a...

We arrived in the middle of the heat wave, July 2015, and were tucked into our room and then the swimming pool in no time at all. Dinner at the hotel was brilliant, and we extended our stay to a second night and another dinner. The town is very walkable, intriguing streets and houses, and the room had a lovely...

This was our second visit here and we had a wonderful 2 night stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a terrace overlooking the valley. On our first evening we tried the restaurant's 'menu decouverte': an excellent 7-course selection of beautifully prepared and presented food matched at each course with wines selected by the hosts. Fabien really knows...
