Had an excellent 4th stay at this beautiful place. The rooms are gorgeous, stayed in the Alcot room this time around. The best nights sleep I've had in a long time. The food is to die for, excellent presentation and cooked beautifully. The staff are very very helpful and professional, if you need anything all you have to do is...

A party 7 of us went to Grassington House for lunch on Saturday afternoon to celebrate mum's 80th birthday. We had a fantastic afternoon. The menu had something for everyone, traditional dishes for the less adventurous and more unusual dishes for people wanting something out of the ordinary. Our party tried some of both and the food was superb, beautifully...

Arrived for a one night stay. Very welcoming hotel and taken personally to our very pleasant room. The evening meal was excellent, as good as a Michelin star restaurant and a very nice breakfast served the following morning. Cooked fresh from all local produce and brought to your table. Thankfully no buffet food. The staff also need a big mention....

We called here gasping for a cup of tea on a cold afternoon when everywhere else seemed shut. The staff were charming and helpful. They sat us by a roaring log fire and served up delicious tea and scones. We enjoyed it so much we asked if we could stay for dinner. Despite the fact they were fully booked, they...

Had to drive 45 mins to meet some friends and wasn't looking forward to it but it was more than worth it when we got there. Lovely welcoming staff, unbelievably good food and wine and the waiter was one in a million! An upmarket restaurant without the stuffiness and enforced quiet. Will definitely go back despite the drive!!!! Thanks Grassington...

The restaurant accommodates 40 plus and is newly decorated. The food is interesting, quite delicious and the housewives more than acceptable especially Giddy Goose a Sauvignon blanc. Staff are friendly and professional, chef owner and his wife

Stayed 2 nights at the Grassington House and dined in the restaurant both nights. Really nice ambience and the food was excellent. Would go as far as to say that the food and service was on a par with a couple of Michelin starred establishments we've eaten at recently. I'd highly recommend this hotel. Great location for exploring the Yorkshire...

I have stayed here and ate here many many times, I even had my wedding reception here. Sue and John are brilliant and really make the hotel, plus Johns food is second to none. They have celebrity chef nights, wine tasting nights you name it. Looking forward to our next night over even though we only live 30 minutes away....
