This is an ideal place to immerse yourself in a holistic ayurvedic experience.

The atmosphere and villas were comfortable and relaxing. I was very impressed by how helpful and professional the staff was.

The vegetarian food was nutritious and aligned to the whole Ayurvedic treatment

I came in in for massage therapy and received excellent care. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and will be surely return.

Just returned home after spending 21 days at Ayuryogashram. It was definitely a place to be if you're seeking for a sanctuary to rest your MIND.BODY.SOUL. The entire team (therapist, cleaners, kitchen staff, doctors, office staff, etc) was very caring and made my stay pleasant & comfortable. Everyone treats you with love & sincerity. The rooms are spacious, clean with cable TV and the food is yummy although I didn't know what I was eating most of the time ;)

The only drawback is that it gets kinda boring after a while, some activities such as classes on ayurveda, cooking classes, ping pong/ chess corner, weekly tour or something would have been nice. Also to add some fruits + change of different soups on the daily menu would have been nice.

If you're looking to rest with a peaceful and serene environment, go here but as other have highlighted...it is not a resort but it's like a typical homestay of Kerala.

Love the whole experience and treatment + the wonderful people I met over there! Till next time!

Dear Mr. Anthony, We are thankful to Mr. Anthony David from Malaysia for the very fair observations and frank opinion about the facilities and services that were available at Ayuryogashram during his recent visit . It will now be our concern to ensure that at least some if not all of his suggestions are taken up for implementation immediately,.Thanks once again. For Ayuryogashram Pr Ltd, Bindu

I went to ayuryogaahram thinking it would be giving authentic treatment. I was very dissapointed with the dilapidated place, suffocating treatment rooms and lack of resident dr availability. I had a tremendous stomach ache at night but no resident dr was there and the other doctors could not be reached till 11 next morning. Torture. The treatment rooms and bedrooms are dirty infested with ants and termites on the wall. They claim to give you a homely atmosphere but that becomes unprofessional and annoying at times. Everyone is very polite and dr anitha is good. Dr pillai comes once a week. No greenery as the website shows and a stamp size garden. Very poorly managed place. I would never go back.

The people are nice and the place is neat but this is not the place to go for any treatment. If you just want to rejuvenate yourself and looking for an average price, this is a place to go. But, do not go for any treatment. Find a better place for treatment purposes. I went for a treatment with two other people and it was a waste for us.

My friend recommended Ayuryogashram to me, I had some expectations based on what he said. After staying here for a month, I’ve realized how much this place has exceeded my expectations. I have been to Ayurvedic resorts before, but this centre definitely has something special about it. The experience is more of a pleasant, fulfilling, memorable one. Kudos to everyone at Ayuryogashram!

This was my second trip to the Ashram. My husband joined me this time. We enjoyed the whole experience form the massages, the food and the serenity of the place.

The therapist were very good and always had a smiling face. The kitchen staff and the household staff were always ready to accommodate are needs. We would like to thank the Manager, Bindu who was very professional in everything she did.

I would definitely recommend this place for its authentic treatments.

I have gone to 5 or 6 different places in India for Ayurvedic treatments, and though none were perfect, there were many more positive than negative points to most -

THIS place, however, was a total disaster - terrible food, really crazy chef, selfish, rude doctors in the worst possible environment for these kinds of treatments - noisy, disorganized, and only one really skilled and caring treatment therapist, who by now has been long gone.

The manager was putting on such a good act at being charming and caring that took the decision to come, without putting in sufficient time to properly research the place beforehand. BIG mistake !

No privacy or peace, even though the campus was isolated - workmen hammering and building shortly after I had arrived, and I could not enjoy my balcony or keep the drapes open for long because there were constantly workmen all day long, sometimes just standing around and staring -

The general manager, a female, had zero interest in disturbing the status quo - she knew the chef was lousy, and perhaps may have had some awareness of some of the many deficiencies there, but did not seem to want to make the effort to get better staff - most of who had a very unprofessional attitude - again, particularly the 2 doctors.

The female doctor wore a lot of artificially scented perfume, which was highly inappropriate in an Ayurvedic retreat - when taking the treatments the body and mind normally become very tender, open and sensitive - I for one did not appreciate having to inhale all the chemicals and the fake smell when she sat in my room or wiggled by.

My motive for coming was to get some deep rest, relaxation and good Ayurvedic medical consultations (that never happened) and treatments (only when that one therapist was available).

I couldn't take it anymore and left half way through, to attend a different clinic much farther away. The staff behavior was just as bizarre as it was during my stay - the very people that caused me difficulties and unhappiness were standing there when I came down with my luggage to the taxi - no doubt, because their manager told them to - I was disgusted - and said my good-byes to a few ladies with whom I could share my heart and some friendship with -

I was never in my life so glad to escape as I was from there -

A total waste of time and money - and I left with much more stress than I came with and the few treatments I had were almost useless - the lack of cleanliness, peace and calm during the process destroyed any sort of relaxation response.

The old man who owned the whole thing seemed to have NO idea of what was really going on behind the scenes, he just sat on the sitout or wandered around inside the main building, trying to avoid eye contact so he wouldn't have to interract with the guests.

Worse place I've every been to in all my life - I can't recommend it for any reason at all.

It was me and my friend visiting Ayuryogashram for treatment early March of this year. Although staff was quite friendly and helpful, yet the place is not really taken good care of.

It is more of a hospital/ clinic than a resort or even a hotel. The food for us was too spicy and unpleasant. The oils used in massages were really heavy and quite smelly. The pool is not functioning. Yoga was performed only once a day at 7:30 am for one hour. We were to stay for a full week, but we had to cut it to only 2 days!!

If you are just up to a basic treatment yet a bit costly still, then the place might be what you require.
