very nice place we stayed with family we enjoyed good service by mr vinod, room ,food ,service and ambiance is absolutely great good place to stay well maintained good behaviour staff excellent place to relax
Spacious rooms with decent amenties. Quite clean. The chef and restaurant staff were helpful. Tasty food, though not always fresh. The staff at the reception need to pull up their socks. could be more helpful
If you like an unclean room, no hot water, no internet, horrible service and staffing dragging furniture across the floors at all hours of the night; then this is the place for you! I would not recommend anyone to stay here... they call themselves a “business hotel” but they do not have internet besides their lobby. The rooms are not well kept with paint pealing and dirty hand marks all over the walls. The staff here has not been helpful or courteous. They are smug and don’t really care if there are issues. At time of check in they told us about their internet issues, or lack there of. But advertised they advertised that they have internet. I’m extremely dissatisfied in everything here. This is NOT a four star hotel!
Finding a bar in Thrissur can be a challenge. This one is located below and at the back of the hotel. There are a couple of bars adjacent to one another one is definitely locals and whilst we were happy to stay in that we were ushered next door. Service was fast and the a/c and beer were nice and cool.
Hotel standard not up to the mark also hotel staff unprofessional need to give training how to deal with guest and customer service if you will ask something regarding food they were not able to give answers I experienced with their buffet they mentioned ginger chicken chilly when I took and Straight away I eat that was with bone they didn’t mention in menu tags and it was Stuck in my mouth even I ask staff he said bone less really very bed hospitality and experience please give proper training to staff before you start any function.
Along with friends stayed for two days, while on the way to shabarimala temple. The hotel was very well maintained and also flexible. Room service was good and quality of food also was good. Overall it's a nice place.
The hotel is located within a few minutes’ drive away from the center of the city. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staffs are polite but irresponsible. Read further to know why: a. I stayed in the hotel for three days. There was no Wi-Fi at all. Wi-Fi was available in the restaurant, but not in the room. Even the Wi-Fi name didn’t appear in the list of Wi-Fi connections on my devices. I brought this to the attention of the staff. They responded that the Wi-Fi is “jammed”, but never bothered to fix it. The hotel’s claim of being a ‘business hotel’ failed right there. b. The pillow cushions were stinking. I don’t think it has been washed since ages. c. The breakfast spread is below average. Ala Carte is expensive. d. The hand shower at the bathroom closet was broken. I told the staff about it, and they did send someone to fix it. But, it broke every day. I had to call them each time to fix it. On the last day, when the staff came to fix it, he dropped a towel (the towel rack is right above the closet) into the closet. When I went to the bathroom, I found the tower soaked inside the toilet. I am sure he noticed it but didn’t bother to take it and throw it away. I reported this too to the staff. Otherwise, they would wash it and keep it for use to the next guest. e. Please see the image attached. I took this picture when I had breakfast. This is apparently the Manager of the Hotel, passing his time off, gazing through the restaurant window, stirring and breaking corn flakes with his bare hands kept in the breakfast spread! Should I write more on this?! When I checked out, I told the above concerns to the staff at the reception. They weren’t apologetic about the inconveniences that I have faced during my stay at their hotel. One of the staffs immediately called the housekeeping and asked them to throw away the towel that was dropped into the closet. The two other staff who were present there just laughed it out! The tagline of the hotel says, “a business hotel”. It’s definitely not; it doesn’t have any business standards. No Wi-Fi being a foremost example.…
We arrived in the afternoon, and as we entered, we did not have the assistance of Bell Boy. Room was a bit hard to find. The room needs serious maintenance. Service is OK. Hot water facility was not there.
We stayed there for one night, very nice hotel. Well organized . From the GM Mr. Thambi, Ms.Priya, satheesh,Mani, chef promod and Thomas..Dinesh all were so helpful. This was a short trip but we will come back soon to explore thrissur again. Thank you
I am writing this review a bit later than my stay in October but I have been traveling and I finally got around to it. I must say that my entire family which included my now husband's side from the US and my family from Chennai, along with friends that travelled from across the world to attend our wedding, were extremely satisfied with the efficient, courteous, well informed staff that worked in this establishment. I am a bit of a planning freak and being that, right from the inception of the idea of having our wedding in Dass Continental up until my transportation to the airport back to our respective cities, they managed to help us efficiently. Their rooms are very clean, even if you face any trouble with the rooms (which we did when we checked in), they were very forthcoming and helpful by immediately shifting us to a different room that was much better. Their party/wedding halls are very good. They have different sizing available depending on your party capacity. The food that was served for our wedding party and the wedding ceremony (Sadhya) was excellent. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it and complimented on it. I always believed that things are bound to go wrong, but it is how the people come together to find solutions to help oversee that problem that shows the efficiency of that establishment and I can vouch 100% that Dass Continental and their staff will leave you entirely satisfied.…
