This is probably our 4th visit/stay (2 nights, 16/17 June 2022) at this property that is situated in a well stocked area in the city. The property has well appointed rooms. We stayed in their Deluxe Room, which was impeccably clean, spacious & well furnished. The staff are courteous, friendly and above all efficient. We were allowed a late check out on 18 June 2022. Buffet breakfast was essentially vegetarian and dishes were tasty and waiters attentive. We didn’t have any other food in-house other than some sandwiches served in the room. The portion seems to be inadequate for the price charged. We stayed in other comparable properties in Thrissur earlier, but Joys Palace invariably stands out in the crowd! We liked the ambience and that’s the reason we continue to visit here.

Excellent look and location. Observations and suggestions:
1) The window glass should be double glazed. If its already, the noise level was
high from the nearby roads and bus station.
2) Phone ringing in other rooms may be controlled by reducing its volume. This can
be done by Housekeeping staff during their routine cleaning round.
3) Housekeeping and Engineering staff should be trained not to talk loudly to avoid
guest getting disturbed in their sleep.
4) Housekeeping staff, should be trained well to interact politely with guests. One
was visibly upset and angry when we highlighted a waste bin malfunctioning.
5) Mosquitos, though not biting, were visible on the floor and ceiling in great
numbers. The new Housekeeping Supervisor did not have a clue on their access
route. We did our R&D and found that there was wide gap on the small window
allowing the mosquitos and flies to freely enter the room (# 508) where there is
light.
6)Last but not the least of importance...Housekeeping staff leave the floor wet
after cleaning. A guest on a short stay entering the room not knowing the
cleaning time, can slip and fall (in fact I slipped). Its a big issue with nationals
from developed nations. The water once dried, leaves murky water marks on the
otherwise beautiful flooring.

Was there at the restaurant this month. It was wonderful as the hotel employees and staff were good towards us as they were polite and helpful . The food was phenomenal with both traditional and fusion mix in it. The ambience and environment was good for guests and other who free frequently visit this place. They provided their service which was quite exquisite, especially a host named Aleema who was kind enough to take special care towards us, she was at her expert level in dealing with the guest over there.
I would recommend this Hotel as one of the best places to be in for both insiders and foreigners as it is the best place to stay in thrissur.

Warm and friendly team. Hospitality, Guest relation, Hygiene and service level are appreciatable points, very calm places to stay within the city limit. A very nice breakfast buffet was a quality one with a south Indian touch. Rest in house quality of food as well maintained quality, hygiene and value.

Onam sadya for 1 at joys palace hotels @666 net
A Fantastic wide variety spread , with varied flavours , and big portions.
A carefully planned and curated menu that stands out from rest of the sadyas in town .
The humblest ingi curry the star, with the beans varuval. The apple payasam was a hit and so was the non commercial flavor of the palada payasam.
The cheera thoran was a surprise as well , me always avoiding greens ate a big portion.
All in all a Fantastic job done . Made onam special.

This is not the first time I stay at the joys palace Thrissur and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The room cleaning was top-notch, always ensuring my room was spotless and comfortable and access is easy and comfortable. The reception was gorgeous with fresh flowers .i want to Special shoutout to Mr Siby Manager at the reception for her exceptional service; he made me feel truly welcomed and also I received a follow up call from another employer to make sure my stay was ok. There are no words to describe our happiness after stay in Joys Palace hotel. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.
