Myself and my husband had an amazing time at Veda5 Kerala. We enjoyed everything from the start : the varied yoga and meditation classes, the doctors consultations and the medicine provided, the massages and relevant treatments performed by very skilled therapists, the tasty and varied satvik food provided three times a day, very very comfortable rooms, the almost empty beach dotted with fishermen and numerous sea birds ... There is a great sense of community, we felt really welcomed, really at home, taken care of like from a mother and a father. At meal times and throughout the day, there is always someone to chat to, experiences to discuss, small adventure to create. We met numerous guests which we hope will become friends through the years. Thank you Veda5, all the staff, from the front desk, to the kitchen, to the therapists, teachers, cleaners, security, gardners ... You made our stay truly special, very high recommendation to all...

I have just returned from a wonderful 3 weeks at Veda5. I originally booked only for 2 weeks, but enjoyed my stay so much that I extended. Veda5 is an absolute gem in so many ways.

1. The location is just incredible. My room was a stone's throw away from the sea and every night I slept hearing the sound of the waves. The beach, although not pristine and clean is beautiful (and clean enough to enjoy). The sunsets I experienced each night were amazing. walking daily on the beach was a joy. The area has no other tourists apart from those staying at Veda5, so the beach is very quiet and only shared with friendly fisherman and a few locals

2. The people / the staff at Veda5 are what really make it so special. EVERY staff member offered such a big welcome and so much love and care to me during my stay. Dachu the manager is fabulous - he was happy to do anything he could to make my stay the best it could be. We even had a party on the beach with a fire and dancing on my last night. So many happy, special memories. The kitchen staff were so kind also, I was trying to lose weight (I lost 8kg in 3 weeks) and they made special meals for me. My Ayurvedic therapist Jily is the most beautiful person and she cared for me with such love and kindness as we worked through my programme trying to get my body in a better / healthier state.

3. I don't know if I was lucky, or if Veda5 attracts a certain client, but the other guests were all great. some kept to themself and some met each night to eat together, both ways worked - there were some couples and many solo travellers.

4. I have so many happy memories and I can't wait to return. I would say as a Brit that by the end of March it was a bit hot for me, I would probably return at the end of / start of the year next time.

I’m just back home after 10 days at the Ayurveda Living Village, full of energy and gratefulness for having found this place 🙏🏻 It was my first time in India, first time at a yoga retreat, first time traveling alone, and it couldn’t have been better. The kindness, warmth and harmony at the center is amazing. From being picked up at the airport until drop off when going home, the team at the center take care of you as a family member. Nothing is impossible 😊

Food is really good, treatments are wonderful, the rooms are spacious and everything clean and fresh. And the beach...what a pearl! It is just this center and fishermen along the whole beach. Really!!

If you need a break from the peacefulness, and perhaps do some shopping, ask someone at the center to order a riksha and take a trip to Triprayar (about 30 mins). The 3-story fabric shop Beauty Silks is a lot of fun :)

Before coming to the Ayurveda Living Village I wasn’t sure what to expect; it all seemed too good to be true, but it was just as lovely as it looks! And then add the love and harmony that fills the atmosphere 🙏🏻

Sree and his team has created a little piece of paradise at the Ayurveda Living Village. I am so grateful for having been let in. I can truly recommend this place with my whole heart ❤️

I had excellent experience during my stay in Veda 5 Thrissur.
First of all , the location was excellent and very calm.
The food was completely Satvik and easy on stomach compared to the local spicy food.
The medicinal Ayurvedic massage treatment was most authentic at Veda 5.
The staff keeps you completely occupied throughout the day with cooking classes, yoga and games. Morning yoga session on the beach by Ira Chaudhary mam was splendid and Nidra meditation in the night was a respite from our busy lives.
It’s a clean property with all the facilities which you need.
My recommendation is to book directly from the Veda 5 portal to get the best deals instead of booking websites.
I would definitely visit there again for a much longer stay.
Thanks Veda 5 Thrissur for making our stay memorable. Special thanks to Dachu for the game at the end.

We did visit Veda 5,Kalpamangalam,Kerala last week and it was a wonderful experience. Relaxing and more so with Yoga classes and with a beach nearby for a morning and evening walk it made us feel calm and relaxing There was always someone to take care of us especially when the kids are in the beach.

The staff are so nice and smiling , very rare to see these days . Rooms are clean and the environment is good. Vegetarian food at it's best, we loved it

If you still till need more you can go cycling, spend some time playing shuttle, throw ball etc.

Just returned from a 4 night break feeling rejuvenated. Incredible location, there is very little except the hotel, some fishing boats, coconut trees and the beach for miles, all of which can be explored on one of the bicycles available to customers. Early morning yoga on the beach is just the best. The staff were wonderful and made me feel very cared for, from the food, to the treatments, to the cleaning and reception staff. Currently this resort has only 12 rooms which in my opinion is what makes it so wonderful but I understand there are plans to expand the capacity with building work evident during my visit. Perhaps when they do they will address the only criticism I have which relates to the lack of privacy the rooms offer. Most are on the ground floor so have people in close proximity walking past your windows and some others open onto a yoga space, which makes opening the blinds and letting the light into the room a challenge.

I spent 15 days at Ayurveda Living Village which is beautifully situated on the beach away from tourism and in harmony with locals and indian traditions. Yoga, medical consultations, treatments, meditation and ayurvedic diet were all new to me and I love it. In addition we went on excursions with a o a visit to the Ayurveda museum which gave me insights of great value. The staff and the other quests were supporting and warm. Namasthe to all of you at the centre. See you soon again.

The resort is a special place tucked away in Kaipamangalan Beach facing the beautiful Arabian Sea. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and the food is prepared meticulously with a lot of care and most importantly - it is yummy!
Everyone from the driver, to the housekeeping team, security, kitchen staff and managers are very pleasant and willing to help however way they can.
Jilly and Saiju have magical hands and we never wanted the treatments/massages to end.
Dachu was always flexible in providing what we needed and very much on top of the whole operations of the resort.
Vishnu is a gem - his interactions with guests were so sincere and full of natural warmth. Never intrusive nor too familiar. His experience as a former General Manager in another Ayurveda resort is an asset to to Veda5.

We hope to come back and wish veda5 and the whole Kerala team even more success!

The whole experience was amazing!
We picked this one, because it is right on the beach! The sea is always very warm )
Food was amazing, great variety of vegetarian dishes !
The resort is pleasing to the eye, many beautiful flowers, bushes, there are hammocks, it is like living in a little garden ))
Rooms are not very big, but have everything you need- air conditioned, rooms with shower
Treatments are great, relaxing, healing.
The set up of resort over all is great, beach hall- place where we meditate and do yoga is right on the beach, what a view! And during class you hear waves crashing and birds singing, there isn’t a better set up to practice yoga 🫶🏼
And the biggest and best part of the resort is its friendly, kind, loving people, who work there! The love and care they give was very healing, family like bonds were created, and the feeling was as we were kids in a parents house, where we loved, cared for and safe. Can’t stress enough how kind, open, friendly and caring everyone is, which creates environment to relax, heal and give and receive love 💕, I think that’s very important part of experience we often don’t realize we need )))
Definitely recommend to visit
