There were socks under the bed that where NOT mine and certain hairs in the bathroom again NOT mine...plus broken glass on the bathroom floor makes one wonder if a broom is part of the cleaning regime. There was no service just confused individuals that would refer you to a manger that no one seen nor knew how to reach....

It was just awful. I slept with my clothes on all night. Bathroom towel rod broken towles hung from a rusty shower rod. No supplies what so ever. Pillow on bed as old as the hill. I can't see how they are allowed to get a License to rent out rooms.

Great location on the beach near the ferry terminal in Balfour. The building is old, and in need of either a major Reno or torn down. Beds uncomfortable, carpets and counters dirty, room had unpleasant odor. All this for $120 night. Bring a tent and stay at Kokanee creek provincial Park instead.

We came back for our 3rd stay in May, 2011. The hotel has undergone some changes for sure. They are in the process of renovating so we found our room had some new paint, new bedding, new curtains and artwork on the wall which was great. There are no pets left here anymore and we were very happy to find...

We have stayed at Balfour Beach Inn several times. The location is fantastic, however, our overall experience has not been very good. More than once we have made a reservation, only to arrive and find that they have no record of it. On our most recent stay, it took us a very long time to check in due to the...

The Balfour Beach Inn is a modest motel style accommodation. The rooms have a kitchenette though they are well within the average price for a room without. The restaurant and bar have a cozy local flair. The view of the lake from the deck is truly lovely, the entire setting is a great experience. If you are looking for a...

I stayed here for 3 nights in Feb on a ski tour, and found the staff to be sincere and friendly, This Hotel is a true gem for it has a good room, that steps out to fantastic scenery where wild life abounds, including Eagles, Osprey, Herons. The food in the restruant and in the Bar is excellent. The coffee...

We booked a room here because we were attending a wedding at a nearby lodge which was already completely booked up for the weekend. The front enterance to our room was COVERED in cob webs and huge disgusting spiders.. it was clear that this room had not even been entered in atleast a month! Inside it smelled musty and like...

Sleeping rooms beyond being simply tired. Upon entering, room had musty odour, killed 19 cedar beetles, and plumbing/.appliances generally in poor repair and/or non-functional. Would definitely not recommend.

This is a tired out old motel charging $100.00 a night for $40.00 a night value. The carpets are filthy, the combo stove and refridgerator were rusted and not working ( no fridge ,1 element worked ) A second bar fridge was provided. The futon that serves as the second bed and front room couch was threadbare and worn out....
