Although it is very basic, at least they provide enough duvets to keep you warm in the cold cold EBC region.
Can't say much about sanitation, it is beyond basic, but I reckon it is part of the "experience" of the local country.
As there was nothing else available. Our guide brought us to this guesthouse. Everything is very basic here (especially the toilets are below basic) but you have a great view to Everest (sunrise and sunset)

Hey. The best way is by car and there's no provision for booking. It's a first come, first serve basis. It's a dorm style accommodation. There is a lodge across it that is very basic but could also work. Worst case scenario, there is a camp site about 2kms from the monastery.
