I was there with my family including two kids (5 and 8 years old). We all had a wonderful time. Best part was the personalized guide who made sleeping in the jungle like a 5 star hotel. Food was great too.

A book could be written about this place. It is in the middle of the jungle and it is worth to visit only for the sound of the nature in the early morning. You are deep in the jungle. The staff is very professional ( thank you Claudia) and the local guides very experienced. My guide Pinduca was simply part...

Our family of four, including 2 young girls spent 4 nights here and had an amazing time in the middle of the Amazon. All the staff and volunteers were really friendly and the food was excellent. We went on jungle treks, fished for Piranha, spotted dolphins and caiman. The highlight was spending a night in a hammock in the jungle...

I have never in my life been so excited and scared to stay in the Amazon jungle! 7 days in the Amazon! After 11 hours of plane transfers I was picked up to start this adventure by one of Palmari's friendly staff. The three hour boat/pickup truck/boat ride was worth the trip to get there and an experience all to...

Wonderful lodge tugged away in the Amazone jungle where we got used to outdoor life so quickly and easily. The guides are no doubt the best we could wish for. Very helpful, very knowledgeable and very skillful!

I stayed for 4 nights which seems a better minimum than the 3 suggested because reaching the reserve from Leticia can take a long time so you could lose a day at the reserve itself. I definitely recommend paying for the transport because they make what could be complicated incredibly easy and enjoyable - I was met reliably as promised...

The unique sound of the birds of the rainforest, the blue morpho butterfly, sunset at the Amazon, the huge trees, the dense forest, contact with the indigenous people, all have been a wonderful experience for us. We wil keep very sweet memories about our canoeing at sunset at the Amazon between the dolphins. Reserva Palmari is a beautiful reserve with...

We stayed at Palmari for 4 nights in mid June. From start to finish, we had an absolutely amazing experience. The kind of experience we will surely remember and cherish for the rest of our lives, it was that intense. We flew in to Leticia from Bogota and were picked up from the airport by Claudia from the Palmari staff....

“If you want somewhere quiet and want more privacy go for the private rooms. However, The Maloka is more than suitable however.”

“We chose a private hut, but this was a mistake - the heat in the jungle is unbelievable, and the otherwise spatious room traps the heat, making sleep even in the nice bed a bit miserable. The maloca is much cooler at night, when we go back at some point in the future, we will choose that.”

“I'd go with the cheaper backpacker's option as the difference between this package and the lodge package is minimal.”
