We had booked this "resort" months ago for our 5 night vacation and were told we had a full service with trees and a private site! We had been here years ago in a tent and thought is was nice but wow, we could not take another minute in this horrible place after checking in...Check in was smooth and we...

I have to start with the bad because it definitely outweighed the good: - The facilities were extremely dirty. The showers were filthy, the eating area of the restaurant was gross and smelled of bathroom, the bathrooms at the beach had all kinds of disturbing stains on the walls... - There were not enough bathrooms. There was a wait every...

We stayed at Ol Macdonald last weekend with Friends. Between us we had 4 children and they all had a great time from the beach, carts, merry go round, petting zoo and park they where all worn out. Yes the place itself is dated and could do with a few changes but it's camping site it's expected. It's a great...

I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in something I was so excited for. 1) Upon arrival you are required to pay for anything and everything, including leashed dogs and any other people or vehicles coming with you. The woman at the reg office grills you with questions to find any other applicable charges. 2) Then you are provided...

Just wanted to say a few things about our first time experience there. The good: Heard how family friendly it is and this certainly was true! Loved how there are many activities for kids to do. We had five kids in our group (ages 7,5,3,2 and 4 months old). The site that we stayed at was walkable for my 2...

Spent a weekend here with son, daughter in law and grand son. Wonderful treed site with lots of space. There are many playground areas, restaurant, coffee shop and a spectacular large clean and groomed beach. Shallow water where you can wade out 100 ards and still only be up to your waste. While prices are a bit on the pricey...

This is a resort that caters to kids. In fact, the resort is crawling with kids! Every year our children meet new friends and enjoy all the splendid activities this campsite offers. If you are a wilderness adventurer this is not the campsite for you! This is a resort that offers tractor-train kiddie rides ($2), Arcade, In-door Heritage Barn mini-putt...

Was a bit of a cash cow bit the kids loved it. Wish they had more full hookups in the trees section of the campground. Majority of the full hookups area you are right on top of eachother. With little to no trees in between.

The Good: large beach; number of amenities; friendly staff; laughs with friends Unfortunate: dirty (perhaps paving roads in campground would make it somewhat cleaner); many unsupervised children; some adults needing supervision; over-crowded; more washrooms needed Unusual and Unfortunate: women sitting on lawn chairs while being driven around in the back of a truck; older man standing beside playground who was...

We came home from the campground after staying 2 days and my 5 yr old daughter threw up all the way home for 2 hours, and then again when we got home, then I woke up at 5:30 this morning puking and pooing so I know it's the flu. It was sooo busy there I can only imagine how many...
