This hotel has a good location, just across the border into Chile and a 90 minute drive to Torres del Paine national park. We stayed a single night on our way to the park. Note the roads are under construction and once completed, the drive should be less than an hour. The hotel feels very new and is nicely decorated. The bar and reception are very comfortable and a great spot for a drink. Our room had a large and comfy bed, and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. There was good wifi in reception. We had dinner in the restaurant - this was buffet with good choices. Breakfast was equally tasty with a good selection of breakfast foods. The staff were helpful and friendly and it was also nice to walk around the village.
I highly recommend this hotel if you are on your way to Torres del Paine. Compared to the options in the park, this place was very well priced.

The surprise of our trip. Well maintained and neat hotel with spacious rooms and nice luxury bathroom and good shower. Good breakfast that lacks nothing with fresh produce. The staff were very helpful. Although the hotel is built with a lot of wood, there was not much to hear from other rooms. The restaurant is good with tasty food and unfortunately the wines are expensive. Too bad a menu of € 32 is imposed. That's way too much food for us. After 5 minutes of talking to the waiter, it turns out that they also have a menu where you can order individual dishes. It's good! The NP Torres del Paine can be reached quickly on a good asphalt road. Unlike the very bad road from Puerto Natales.

Before you you read I am 8 years old and have pestering my parents for more than a year now just to say how awesome this place is! The staff were friendly and helpful. The fluffy sheep keys were adorable. It was cozy, quiet, and welcoming. I was ready to move in! The food was delicious and my little sister who loves horses, loved the saddle seats at the bar. My parents gave the red wine a 👍👍review. The staff made the dessert look like it was fit for a couple of queens. We traveled for 2 weeks across Chile and Argentina and this place was the only hotel were I begged my parents to write a great review. That's why you should visit Hotel Ovejero outside of the blue towers Chile.

We rested here after a tiring day at Torres del paine. It's such a quaint hotel. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. There were old singer sewing machines laid out. They have bar with saddles. All the staff are dressed like gauchos. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast here. They have good food options and dessert. Great service. Our rooms were comfortable. Definitely a unique hotel.

Our group of 11 stayed here for one night as we traveled back to El Calafate from Torres Del Paine. The hotel is a little gem, everything looked so clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom very modern with stone (marble or granite maybe) floor and walls, glass shower enclosure. The linens and blankets looked brand new. The decor is quite unique, a mix of modern, rustic and antiques, very well presented. The common lounge area is very comfortable, has a small bar with horse saddles for seats. We had a great dinner, excellent food and service, and breakfast the next morning, with buffet items as are found in most hotels as well as cooked to order eggs, etc. This Estancia is perfect if you are traveling through the Chile and Argentina border checkpoints and need to stay overnight near the border. We really enjoyed the one night stay here.

There is no reason to stay in this town other than proximity to the border for crossing back into Argentina since there is nothing to do here; it's 45 minutes from Puerto Natales and 1.5 hours from Torres del Paine. We ended up here based on a booking by the travel agent when the hotel we were originally going to stay in burned down.

The decor is South American vaquero meets Wild West. The sheep skin covered chairs in the dining area and the leather saddle bar stools all add to the quaint ambience. The common area in the front of the hotel near the bar is filled with leather chairs and couches arranged for a drink and conversation. The coffee tables have a variety of books with subjects that range from guides of Chile to local flora and fauna.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. The beds are firm and the pillows even firmer, so you may want to bring one with you. The shower is encased in glass and has a fancy rain shower head and wand, which weren't terribly impressive due to the lack of water pressure.

Breakfast was the usual assortment of ham and cheese and bread. Additionally there is fresh fruit, yoghurt, and eggs made to order. Dinner options consist of a set menu of soup, salad, entree, side and dessert. The soup and salad were good. The guanaco steak had a good flavor despite being tough. The grilled salmon was cooked well but under seasoned; thankfully there was a green salsa to put on top. The pasta frutas del mar was inedible; the seafood was mushy and flavorless.

The hotel is new and immaculately clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful and several of them speak English. Laundry services are also available, with a one day turn around.

A flat tire landed us here by accident, but what a happy accident. The hotel is only about 1 or 2 years old and everything is brand new and in tip top shape. At the same time, there is a lot of character and local charm. The hotel pays homage to the Estancia culture of Patagonia and each room is named after a different ranch. Thoughtful touches abound, like the barstools made out of horse saddles from the owner's family ranch.

We recently stayed two nights at this hotel. Nice comfy rooms. Hot water for the shower was a bit of an issue half the time. Breakfast was very good, great staff - very supportive and helpful. Wi-Fi mostly inoperative but that seems to be common around this area. Altogether really not bad but given the price still not the best bargain.

Since the prices for hotels inside Torres del Paine park are unreal during summer, and the direct road from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine (the southern entrance) is closed, Cerro Castillo is the nearest location to the park. The hotel is certainly decent.

I stayed in this place after my visit to Torres del Paine. At first i liked the deco and oh my god the bed was greeeeat! I was going to give a great review but 3 problems occurred:
A) the water was yellow in the sink
B) the room had no warm water in the shower before check out
C) the receptionist insisted that i need this little paper to check-in and also to depart from the country. (The former was not true i was asked for this little paper on departure.) I took offense from this comments because my passport dated stamp was not good enough proof that i entered legally the country.
