We booked this at very short notice, as our son decided late to go to the open day at Bangor Uni, but we got a Family room (1x double bed 1x single bed) it has all you'd want, free wifi, tv, power shower and comfy beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The... More

Spent 1 night here basic accomodation, musty smell on arrival in the room, which initially appeared clean(ish) until going to bed and noticing not one, but two rogue hairs under the Duvet! The coffee sachet was open and strewn on the tray, no spoon either. Oh, and the water was brown, so we had to go out and get bottled... More

Having left it rather late to book a bed for a wedding we though it would be a disaster - "the price is too good for the rooms to nice", "we better bring breakfast it'll be dry toast", "on the main road? It'll be noisy." We were proved wrong on every count - we arrived at 11am well before check... More

I was lucky enough to find (by chance) a twin room for one night for myself and my sister at this excellent lodge. What a great place to stay! You won't get a greasy fry-up for breakfast though. Amazing place with friendly, attentive and helpful staff! Food was delicious and views were to die for. There are some incredible walks from the lodge which the staff told us about. The rooms were very comfortable, a little aged but didn't dampen the trip at all. Definitely recommend!

I liked everything about this place. The rooms are basic, but clean and nice. There was a TV, a little fridge, as well as a hairdryer. The staff were friendly and approachable. The location stunning.
