    First time at The George. Popped in on the offchance for lunch. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious , flavour packed and very well judged. The desserts were wonderful and so well presented. Can't wait to come again.

    Had a couple of days here. Nice room & food was lovely "lamb hogget" was fantastic. We took the bus into York "50mins" cheaper & better than parking. Took tour bus at York £10 for 24hrs very good value. The sun was out so how...More
