Very chilled big garden to chill in with loads of hammocks, Palm trees and a small pool - friendly staff as well that are knowledgable about island hopping . Peaceful and quiet and makes a good basem for Coron.

Accessible to the town. Staff are friendly and helpful in terms of tour arrangement. Sad that this resort was damaged by typhoon Haiyan. The good thing is- it is near to everything. Large garden and fountain and well-lighted at night.

It's hard to take kokosnuss resort seriously, what with all the bizarre decor and fake stonework and faux greek and indian statues; but it is real. Unfortunately. I found it difficult not to imagine Barbara Windsor bursting out of a bush somewhere dressed in a grass skirt, or some bizarre BBC documentary going on with all the gaudi pink curtains,...

Kokonuss is located about a 10 minute walk out of Coron so it's definitely worth getting a tricycle into town (10 pesos) as it usually quite humid. The staff are lovely, friendly and we're always asking me questions about my day and what I had been doing. Food there was flavourful and usually quite large quantities - if you go...

Large garden, flowing fountains, quite an oasis! Few minutes by tribike to harbour / town centre. Hot water was not working, but I did not mind it. Also, we had a visit from a large gecko (20cm lizard). A bit of a shock at first, but after trying to take closer photo of it, it hid somewhere in our room...

The rooms and surroundings looked great online, but when we arrived in Coron we had a shock. The room we saw in the picture looks big and clean, this was a tiny room with 2 single beds on two sides of the door, even though we booked a couple room, no fan or AC, they had to bring in a...

There are a few pit-falls associated with bargain-hunting hotels in the Philippines. We fell quite a long way on this one. Photos looked decent enough online, but it's different on arrival. My wife described it as eerie. The grounds were unkempt and recent attempts to improve just yield small piles of trash and clippings around. The 12 foot round pool...

Kokosnuss is nothing short of a complete catastrophe. Upon our arrival we asked the staff to repair the broken shower in the room, but the repair was never done. After one night we discovered the ceiling leaked water all over, ruining some of our belongings. We then requested to change rooms, but the second room we were offered had obviously...

We really enjoyed our stay here! We upgraded our room when we got there because the family rooms are very nice and large. The staff and owner are so nice and helpful. Alma helped us figure out our daily activities and make arrangements for them. The food at the restaurant was wonderful, and we met several people hanging out it...

I normally don't bother writing reviews on here but after reading some of the comments below i feel it necessary ! I don't know if any of the people who have written some of the reviews below realise this, but Palawan/Coron is known as the 'last frontier' which means this is not the place to go for pedicures, fine champagne...
