I stayed here on Sunday with my Fiancee for a a night away, it was an offer i got, and i have to say it was excellent! Lovely friendly staff, our room was lovely and cosy, not noisy for it facing on the main road, we also had dinner included in the deal i got and the food was fantastic!...

Called in for a lunch whilst travelling. Girls behind the bar were very friendly, and our dog was welcomed in the bar (not the restaurant). Lunch was great, fish & chips and cullen skink as a main......I can heartily recommend.

My wife and I are just back from a Friday and Saturday night stay at this hotel. I had read a couple of recent poor reviews before going and was a little alarmed as I had booked on an amazon deal at a very low cost for 2 nights stay. On arrival we checked in at the bar (no manned...

After a fairly tortuous and inefficient booking process via centralised booking with Inspired Hotels - guys, please improve your process and respond, articulately and having actually read my requests, within 48 hours - my party arrived at the hotel. What a pleasant surprise - yes, the rooms and indeed the hotel itself are a little tired and in need of...

Stayed here last night. Lovely place, food good but customer service could be improved on asking a customer "what's the problem?" when they have been over charged was very unprofessional. In fairness problem was resolved but could have been handled better. The room we stayed in was very near a door that is used often and woke us up in...

This hotel has had some recent bad press whilst the new owners bed-in but the location suited our walking plans so we bit the bullet and booked up. We're glad we did because the hotel met our need for a bed in a lovely location and our bellies were well filled too. I had attended primary school there more than...
