We visited Chateau in the Woods last weekend with a group of friends and were really awed by the hospitality of the entire staff. All the rooms - the junior suite to the cliff-view cottages are amazingly maintained and super comfortable. The balconies and the views - valley as well as tea-plantation views - are awesome. Must mention that it's the staff that made the stay really comfortable. Anas especially was really helpful and also took us around for a walk in the tea plantations. The food options are limited though we love local Kerala style food and enjoyed the same. They prepared a delicious Sadhya feast for us on one afternoon. Far from the town, this is your place to visit if you're looking to completely relax and chill over the weekend.
Right in the middle of a tea estate, far from the town of Wayanad. It is a place to relax and spend time with your partner or family. View was just so great from our balcony, overlooking the hills planted with tea plants. Service was great, something to definitely mention about. Anees took care of us very well in the resort and also guided us to tour around. I stayed in the suite with the jacuzzi, was definitely luxurious. The food they make was just good, I wouldn't mention it as great. They had camp fire in the evening on request and a pool table for recreation, apart from that there was nothing else for entertainment. The pool was closed, may be due to the pandemic. It was located in a place where most tourist spots where minimum 1 hour away, tat is a minus. I felt it was a little pricy for its location. Overall was a good stay with its good ambience.…
Nice experience. Mr Anas was really helpful for all the needs and we had a great stay. We strongly recommend this place for a peaceful stay without any disturbances. We had complete privacy. Great experience !!!
The service and staff attitude was good. Good destination for people who want peace of mind and just spend time in between tea plantation. But not the good place for people who want to explore wayanad. Also to reach this resort it is very tough task. Also the roads were under construction and do not take your new car for the trip.
- Good privacy for couple. - Calm location. - Nice scenery. - Winter is the best time for visit. - Good ambiance in total. - Friendly staffs. - Serving south indian breakfast(2 types). - Dinner and lunch dont have much alternatives and we have to settle with south indian foods/kerala traditional foods.
