To clarify this review is purely about the restaurant, I didn't stay here so I can't comment on the hotel part. I went here with my family for Sunday lunch and I don't think the staff had ever been trained on customer service. We weren't told which meals were out of stock, meaning I had to pick another option after...

We returned them to the bar to be warned up ,they brought us out fresh meals which weren't that much warmer! ! The vegetables were hard and the...

I didn't visit, as I had to cancel last minute. When I called the hotel the member of stiff that I spoke to couldn't of been more helpful. Although I should of been charged for this hotel because of the last minute cancellation, they wavered this without a second thought. Thankyou guys, I will defo surly be rebooking soon Leon

We wanted a last minute break. 24 hours later we arrived at The St Leonards Hotel. 2pm on the Saturday of a Bank Holiday weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. The receptionist was really helpful. When we arrived at our room the girls preparing the rooms were all cheerful and enjoyed a joke with us, even...

Its very difficult to rate this Hotel. The staff are friendly, and they do their best to keep the place clean and tidy. The food is not spectacular, but it is very cheap. You could say good value for money, but its not a place to go if your looking for something special. Its good for family outings, but not...

We had a weekend away in Dorset and know the standards of OEIs so visited this one in the evening. Staff say they had been busy so we should "grab a table whilst we can". We were given menus and told they hadn't got a lot of food, but didn't say what. We sat down and a young girl took...

Work booked this hotel for me however, it wouldn't be my first choice if I was to book this myself. Rooms was very clean however, it was a bit dated and could do with a refurbishment. Only stayed for one night which was very pleasant, staff are friendly and helpful. Only negative point was my meal in the restaurant although,...

Chose this pub as easy to reach and the parking. Overall, considering it was an Easter Sunday and they were very busy, the service, food and price were very good. Only a couple of drawbacks - the waitresses were rather sullen and disinterested. One in particular could not, or would not raise a smile , and we were right to...

One poor young barmaid serving at the bar and waiting on tables. 2 what resembled "managers" swanning about but as much uses as an ashtray on a motorbike, my gut instinct was that the food wasn't going to be good and i wasn't wrong... I decided not to go for the steak (just a feeling i had) and went for...

The rooms were away from the main road so very quiet, with ample parking. Dinner was superb, as was the breakfast included in the room at £60. I can say the staff bent over backwards to help you and would defiantly return in the future. Minus 1 star as the bathrooms and windows could do with a refurb.
