One of the best resorts of Club Mahindra. Staff were very courteous. The check in was slightly delayed. Apart from this, no other problems were faced. The chef took extra care and went of the way to prepare some dishes as we were allergic to some of the food in the buffet. The sight seeing taxi charges could be slightly reduced though. All in all a very good holiday
Just like any hotel. No activities. Food is good. Property is also good. Location is awesome. But we u go with family and friends fun activities for kids is needed. It was literally missing. Mahindra used to be good for enjoying quality time with many activities for kids and family.
we actually went for a short two day break. Except for the nature surrroundings, the resort not made any effort to make the stay more pleasant and enjoyable. The rooms are excellent and neat. Food is horrible and we did not enjoy any mean including BF. the food was stale curd was sour. We informed the restaurant incharge and he was like its not my business you talk to chef. when the same was repeated next day, he got upset and revised my food vouchers. Very disgusting treatment. Resort manager and other staff appeared disinterested .
What a memorable nice time we had here !! Pros: 1. Huge property in superb location. 2. Ultra spacious , hygienic rooms with dry kitchen and a microwave. We stayed 4 nights in 2 studio rooms. 3. Great pool. 4. Efficient housekeeping- ever smiling Sudheer kept our rooms in very clean and hygienic condition. 5. Brilliant accommodating staff - Ms Arya , Ms Noreen just to name a few. Cons: 1. As usual , food in CM resorts exorbitant, we don’t mind the food being overpriced but atleast there should be more variety and local options. Here the prices are at a ridiculous level compared to the other CM resorts. 2.Also please stop this bad practice of serving food in paper boxes under the garb of “Gourmet express” Room service .Understand you may be short staffed, but this brilliant resort needs a better option. 3.Needs a bar and 24 hrs dining (at least with limited menu). 4. Super Exorbitant priced boating activities and they don’t take you in the beautiful Canals just river boating. TIP: 1. Through another Trip advisor member’s review decided to try Mr. Vijeesh (+91 90481 76186 ) and what a brilliant experience, He runs this with his family, experienced passionate simple local people and has local knowledge of Munroe island. My family and kids had a memorable time canoeing in the narrow canals of Munroe island which we will never forget and that too at a very economical rate for 2-3 hours. 2. Tasty local food options at AR restaurant Ashtamudi, Regant Lake Palace Hotel about 5 - 7 km from the CM resort. These are the few options at very economical rates , which you can explore with family. 3. Avoid the Floating cottages at CM resort Ashtamudi as they are bit cramped with a net over the balcony which spoils the purpose of staying there. 4. Make sure you visit CM Poovar which is another gem just 3 hours away and also close to Trivandrum airport.…
It is ultimate resort, house keeping and everything fine especially the swimming pool is awesome, food is also fine overall the experience is awesome for especially our kids are enjoyed very well. We enjoyed that speed boat ride
