We were accommodated in the double tent and enjoyed it more than the cottages. beds were comfortable , bathroom new and revamped. Food as usual was local fare, tasty, well presented. Cold crisp Serengeti beer available . Breakfast was a nice surprise as on previous trips had no time for an early meal. the chef presented the eggs as requested, fresh juice, decent coffee and selections of cocoa/Africacafe. Pool beds were in evidence, water a little low but during this time of year, it is too cold for a dip. I would definitely return.
We stayed here for one night, during our Safari in Tanzania. The food was really good and the staff very friendly! We stayed in the tented lodges, which were very spacious and cozy. Could really recommend staying here!
I was booked on this accommodation when I booked a safari tour with Budget Holiday Safaris in Kenya and 7 Wonders Safaris in Tanzania. There were a lot of issues with the above agent (see reviews on their page). Long story short, my itinerary was screw up and I had to miss one of the sites that I was promised to. I was very upset with the tour agent and I asked for an upgrade to a lodge that day instead of resting my night in the tent. However, I waited the above agents for 4 hours in the lobby but received no answer from them. Jambi, the staff on duty, knew about my situation because he saw me waiting there for 4 hours straight. I believe he would have overheard my conversation with the agent and saw how my emotions ran wild, sitting there crying and feeling absolutely helpless. To add on, the night is getting dark and chilly. Jambi approached me and told me that he had spoken to his lady boss and would like to offer me the complimentary lodge as there was one that is available. My heart was so full because someone can empathise my situation so much. Nsya really don't have to do this for their guests because of the fault of the tour agent, but because they know from the start what was my situation about. Good customer service goes a long way. I'd like to commend everyone at Nsya Lodge, lady boss and her team, Jambi for all that you have done. You guys made Africa even more amazing! I wish your business continue to prosper, stay safe, take care and may we cross path again! Book with Nsya and you won't have any regrets!…
This lodge is a very hospitable place in nice surroundings. The staff are very friendly and there are nice huts. The food was excellent. Good value for the money. I can definately recommend this place.
The property is located in Mto Wa Mbu, a few hundred meters in the countryside area, seen from a distance, it may look quite beautiful, but as you get closer, another world emerges: the bathrooms are dirty and malfunctioning, there is a stench everywhere and everything seems to be left to chance. The accommodations are all in all acceptable. The grade so low, however, does not depend on the structure itself, but on what is likely to happen, when interacting with some element of their staff: some of them are dishonest and dangerous people as they can try to cheat you, even putting you in a dangerous situation. I personally filed a complaint, but I'm not sure if this person has been removed from the structure, so I recommend staying away from this place and choosing something else. Local people can be very friendly, but criminals are always on the prowl. keep your eyes open and always say no to any request that is never disinterested.…
Was a really nice spot, frinendly, good meals and a fantastice (new) tents we could sleep in...nice pool and monkeys came to steal our food!! Nice only first night the dansers were a bit too insisting for bying stuff and that put a little downer but apart from that was really super place!!!
Quietly located lodge on spacious grounds in Mto wa Mbu, close to Manyara NP. Friendly welcome and we spent the night in a beautiful tent that is fully equipped. Great bed. In the evening as a surprise a special performance with dance and acrobatics! The dining room could be made cozier, but the extremely friendly service makes up for it. In short: highly recommended.
In May 2021, we took our students to a camping trip based at Nsya Lodge. Firstly, we were given such a warm welcome by all the staff. This continued through our 2 night stay - the lodge couldn't have done more for us! The facilities were great, a peaceful place to camp and students loved the pool! The lodge arranged all our wonderful activities, from biking to painting. Students also loved the food for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and snacks! We would happily plan our next camping trip with Nsya Lodge. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!
This lodge is proposing tents or luxury spacious bungalow with hot water, excellent beds , really clean. Vodacom 4g is good around the bungalows and free wifi is a decent option at the restaurant. The lodge area is very wide and provides a feeling of freedom and Serenity. Restaurant is excellent and really well organised. Staff is very helpful too always making sure to arrange your drop off and pick up with the safari companies. Swimming pool with bar in the wild is very nice as well!
Nsya Lodge is a quiet, relaxing place away from the busyness of the town yet within easy walking distance. The place is safe and you don't feel threatened to leave and wander around. The rooms are adequate and clean and the grounds are spacious. The staff are polite and quick to help. Particularly good was the standard of food at supper. I would particularly recommend hiring bikes and exploring the area down to the lake. it is flat with easy cycling but take water and a pump.
