My husband and I decided to return to Cara Suites for a Mother's Day retreat to get-away from the city bussle and the hotel was an excellent choice. Upon arrival we were greeted by warm and friendly staff. Our room was very clean, comfortable and our balcony view of the gulf was spectacular. The restaurant offered sumptuous meals and the...

So I stayed here just for one night simply because I was on the road for so long and too tired to continue. Anyway, I went to the front desk to check in and I was told by the lady there that one night was over TT$1000.00. Honestly, I was totally surprised because I don't know this hotel to be...

No room service. Not allowed to dinning wearing shorts. Once you get a table in the outside area the waiter simply ignore you. Doesn't matter the rules they have, they should treat the customers well and apply their rules in a polite way.

Dear Mr. Vizzotto, Thank you for your constructive comments. As you correctly state, for the comfort of our guests we do indeed have a dress code for our restaurant but unfortunately are unable to offer room service. However, if these policies were not conveyed to you in a polite manner and consequently felt you were ignored we sincerely apologize, as...

I have been to this hotel so so many times in the past, but recently it has forever lost my love and loyalty. I have spent my money, recommended it, invited my family and friends but today I was saddened to see the level of unprofessionalism. I visited this hotel on Sunday to celebrate with one of my colleagues. Unfortunately...

It would appear that the sole purpose of this review is to damage our Hotel’s reputation purely because the lady concerned was caught in a situation she should not have found herself in, which reading between the lines of her own review is not too difficult to see why. This lady has not been to our hotel many times in...

The Cara Suites is a good hotel, especially considering the area. It's an oasis in the middle of a not-so-great area. My rating reflects the room in both absolute terms and relative terms. If you are in Trinidad for work, and your work takes you to the Point Lisas area, then this is the best choice for a hotel. It's...

Quiet and serene, this hotel boasts all of the amenities you could want, for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with your family, your significant other or your next business trip. The rooms are well appointed, quiet and comfortable with a large bathroom and even a conveniently stocked refrigerator. Their ‘Valentine’s Dinner Experience’ was quite a notable event for us. First night of 7 here, room okay, restaurant food and menu good, but the internet is useless! Don't expect to be able to work or use a mobile device. Not acceptable in this day and age! Air conditioner noisy and uncontrollable. Seems to be the base for oil and gas workers.
