old typical and beautiful greek village on the mountains almost uninhabited small apartments hosted in stone typical restored nearby housesfeaturing kitchens guestrooms with refrigerators and blenders. Rooms have private furnished balconies or patios where you can take in sea and mountain views Conveniences include separate sitting areas and coffee/tea makers, and housekeeping is provided once per stay. a valid alternative...

We have been travelling to that part of Crete last summer with my wife and our daughter, and we chose the hotel 1) because of the location outside the "touristic" area, and 2) because of what it offered, both in terms of architecture, and price. Ariadni village is represented by several rural-style houses/apartments situated in picturesque village Anatoli. The location is really magnificent – just 30 minutes uphill drive from overcrowded Elafonisi and you are in the middle of nature with wild herbs and trees, overlooking the bay from a height.
