Great resort, NO flies. NO mosquitos, NO shops, spas etc.. Superb snorkelling on the house reef, excellent food, My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday on Fun Island. Glad we took a kettle. Take EVERYTHING you think you might need. We were moved to another, much larger island when all the flights were cancelled due to the volcanic eruption...

We have just returned from a week at Fun Island and we had a good time.We took the trip as it was a fantastic price but we didn't see many reviews on trip advisor so we were not sure what we would get. Arrival was fantastic on speedboat ( approx 45mins) and we were greeted with a cold towel and...

This was our 7th visit to the Maldives and our first visit to Fun Island. We knew about the building work on the island but were assured it would not affect our holiday and it didn't. The Holiday was fantastic. As soon as I stepped off the boat onto the jetty and walked towards the island, I was amazed at...

I stayed with my mum in the resort on the beginning of February 2010. We had a such a lovely time!!!!! We were welcomed with a cold drink and a wet towel- nice gesture, especially after 12 hrs journey. A beautiful Island, very comfortable and quite new bangaloows. East side of the island is closed to guest, still recovering the...

My husband myself my sister & brother-in-law visited Fun Island in Jan. 2000. I cannot fault anything about the holiday, staff or accommodation, it was excellent. The staff were lovely and the food was fantastic. Snorkelling was brilliant. My sister was very ill at the time of our visit and could only manage to walk with a struggle to the...

terrible bungalows. They are old and barely renovated from the Tsunami. You can hear the adjoining rooms. One side of the island is totally destroyed and you can only be on the west side. N/W side of island is nice and at low tides go to the island next to it although they discourage you to do it. It's better...

The roofs of the bungalows where you sleep, and some of the roofs of the common buildings are made of ASBESTOS !! I didnt noticed this fact until last days of staying together with my wife and my daughter. It should need to be removed, but the rooms have been already refurbished and a removal operation could generate a smashing...

My Fiance & I visited Fun Island expecting a bounty advert, tropical paridise. We were not disappointed! I'll never forget the fabulous holiday we experienced. The welcome was wonderful as were the much needed beverage & cold flannels! :-) In comparrison to the staff we've encountered in the Caribbean (some being fairly miserable) Fun Islands were amazingly freindly & quite...

My memories of this beautiful island… On arrival we received a very warm welcome from very helpful, cheerful staff. We also received cocktails on arrival while staff took our luggage to our rooms. Accommodation is a little basic however the views are amazing. On our last night the staff had dressed the bed up with the most amazing display of...

We went to Fun Island for two weeks in September and although the weather was not as good as expected we spent the entire holiday learning to scuba dive. We cannot stress how fantastic the instruction and support was from the dive centre and would recommend anyone to learn about a completely different and amazing world with the Delphis diving...
