Snorkeling was excellent, the house reef was teeming with fishes, we swam with a turtle and saw plenty of small sharks. The food was also better than expected, with a good selection of things to choose from and some really nice desserts. The island is better than some others in the Maldives in the sense that it was possible to...

Lovely, laid back, slightly old fashioned fashioned resort with no airs and graces. Decor is a bit tired but everything is spotlessly clean and rooms are serviced twice a day. The staff ate amazing - SO friendly and willing to please - nothing is too much trouble. The food is very good, all served buffet style, with lots and lots...

This was a first time trip to the Maldives, and knew that the Island was very informal and simple. Our expectations were blown away, and we really did not want to come home after a short week. We loved every minute of the holiday, and especially loved the informal atmosphere on the Island. The beach, and the snorkelling were amazing,...

One of the most beautiful island in Male atoll that I have been to . The house reef in awesome with live corals and multi colored fishes. Went there on my birthday with wife and little baby daughter . Rooms are clean not to be compared to luxury resorts but the island vegetation and again the marine life gives this...

This was my 10th visit to the Maldives over the last 30+ years and one of the best. Having stayed at islands with in room wifi, giant tv's and Nespresso machines it was nice to get back to the barefooted, unpretentious Maldives of yesteryear. If you like swimming with fishes & time to unwind & just enjoy the reef heron...

We thoroughly enjoyed a laid back unpretentious holiday with great snorkelling on the house reef . We saw sharks, turtles ,rays, tuna, eels, lion fish and a myriad of other tropical fish - it often felt like swimming in an aquarium. The beach was very clean and not full of rubbish as had been reported by other reviewers apart from...

I spent with my girlfriend 6 days on Biyadhoo. My first amazing experience was observing baby sharks near pier. I heard that house reef here is very nice and its truth. We have seen lots of sharks, some turtles and nice colourful fishes. Unfortunately, prices for diving with local diving centre are crazy ($70 if you have your own gear)...

Sad to hear that the island continues to have day trip snorkelers on the reef. They were a continual nuisance last year. The loud music from some of the boats is not what you expect to hear on a comparatively quiet Maldivian beach. It would certainly put me off returning. Otherwise the island ticks most of the boxes for a...

Our 6th trip at least, and probably our last. Biyadhoo island used to be idyllic, now the peace has been ruined by up to 10 boats anchored off the west beach every day, with inconsiderate ill equipped swimmers seen standing on the coral, boat owners playing noisy music, and worst of all feeding the fish. Island staff do not seem...
