We stayed here for one night in May. Instantly we were greeted by Mariko, and were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel provided us with a free parking permit! She was very friendly and even walked us all the way up to our room (room 8), which was gorgeous. It was spotless and the decor was really nice, great...

A group of 6 of us stayed here in May and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms are well appointed and breakfast was excellent. Quick and easy trip into Newcastle for the football and a night out. However, the most impressive thing about the hotel was the friendliness of the staff. The 2 ladies who we saw couldn't have...

What a find. Having been severely let down by the Rosebury Hotel, Jesmond, I rang on a recommendation to see if there was a room. Luckily for me there was and I cannot fault The Townhouse. The warm welcome, superb upgraded room and fantastic breakfast all contributed to a fantastic stay. Now there is, in my opinion, nowhere that could...

I stayed here Saturday just gone. Superb experience from start to finish. I normally stay in more established chains however this brilliant little place has made me question why I do. It's very close to central Newcastle, which if you do stay in the city centre expect a lot of noise. This place ticked every box for me I'd recommend...

Stayed 2 nights at the Townhouse Hotel. Arrived Friday night, "what time would you like breakfast?" What time do you serve to? Don't worry about that, whatever time you want it." Brilliant, a hotel that is very flexible. Staff were cheerful and polite, and nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean, tidy and the bathroom had a large walk...

Too many hotels I stay on for business are impersonal and identikit. The Townhouse is a stylist hotel with a great welcome, food and service. I hope my work takes me back to the area so I can stay again soon

We booked this hotel as it was close to the Freeman Hospital where my mother was having an operation. What can I say? Lovely rooms, good breakfast and the kindest staff I have had the opportunity to meet. We stayed one night and everyone couldn't have been more helpful and kind, going out of their way for us at every...

I'm disappointed in myself for having not made time to write this review earlier! 3 couples stayed here 3 weeks ago and we all have a fantastic, memorable stay! Every member of staff is so friendly and none of them can do enough for their guests. Complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely gesture. Rooms, beautiful and clean. Bar/dining area,...
