This place is perfect. Sunny, bright and amazingly well equipped. It has everything you need from microwave, to washing machine, to coffee machine - it even has an open fire! Garden birds abound and in the summer you can dip in the river. This is the perfect haven for a weekend getaway (or even a longer stay!) The owners are...

We had a lovely stay of 3 weeks and enjoyed the out of the way location. Waking up each morning to the sounds of birds and the Beenleigh falls was a real treat. We spent some time sitting on the bank of the river and Sue, our host, gave us scones on Sunday afternoons. Sue and Ron are very nice...

A lovely ground floor apartment, well equipped, comfortable and very clean: In a superb location - two rivers, a canal, golf course, birds, and peace. All within an easy walk of Maldon, with many other walking opportunities.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the beautiful Beeleigh Falls. Following a warm welcome from Sue and Ron we settled (together with our dog Dudley) into the stylish, open plan, well equipped annexe which overlooks your private garden area where you can observe garden birds and wild and water fowl activity. Surrounded by waterways, woodland and...

This is the exception to the rule 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is'! Everything that has been written previously is true and we can only repeat it, perhaps with different superlatives. One extra item - we often saw a beautiful kingfisher. We stayed for six days and would have stayed longer but we had commitments...

My Mum recently stayed at Beeleigh Falls for 4 months while her house was being dried out and re decorated after a significant water leak. This was a very stressful time for her, however Sue and Ron could not have made her more welcome and it was peace of mind for me knowing she was being looked after so well....

Lovely and relaxing little haven. Nice bottle of wind waiting in the fridge and a fresh vase of flowers, courtesy of Sue. You could easily shut yourself away here and it forces you to relax. Totally self contained and very quiet. Take a torch if you have one and you will also need to be drives as is very remote,...

We arrived as a very noisy family (two adults, 6 month old baby and dog) to be greeted so warmly in such a beautiful spot. A delicious crumble was waiting for us along with wine and every piece of baby equipment you could think of. Everything to make our stay as relaxed as possible. The annex itself is beautifully decorated...

Wonderful retreat in a lovely spot. So quiet and peaceful and lovely to see the wildlife. Bottle of wine and fruit a lovely gesture and we had a wonderful relaxing time . We could not have had nicer owners. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel very welcome. Water was put out for our dog. Lovely views...
