Super AJ, avec plusieurs restaurant accessibles à pied. Les chambres sont modernes et bien conçues, nous avions une chambre pour 4 , avec un lit superposé et un tatami double. les communs sympa et le roof top , avec une superbe vue. Parking facile devant l'auberge.

Le lieu est propre, pratique et agréable à vivre. Le self check in est très pratique car calé nous a permit d’arriver à l’horaire souhaité et d’être autonome. A une vingtaine de minute du mont Fuji en voiture. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour !

This placed just opened up and is still under construction to some extend.
However, the owners are extremely friendly and tried to make everything right for us. The rooms themselves do not have AC (yet) but it was bearable to sleep as the street the hostel is located at is not frequented too heavily.
The terrace on the roof offers a wonderful view on Mt. Fuji and was perfect for us to reflect on our climb and descend from it the days prior!

Approx 300m from Mt Fuji Station, Mt fuji view from your window & rooftop..what else could i ask for! absolute perfect location. I would rather stay in Fujiyoshida than Kawaguchiko. it is much less crowded here & more peaceful.
The single room were very small but it was fine with me. No breakfast available, only coffee & tea. my only dislike was the male toilet which was located downstairs & my room was upstairs. imagine the inconvenience going to the toilet in the middle of the night.
One of the receptionist also recommended me to an awesome Yoshida no Udon restaurant. delicious & very affordable!

Lo primero que hay que destacar del Hostel 1889 es su excelente ubicación, a un par de minutos de la estación de Fujiyoshida. Además, uno puede plantarse acercarse a pie a la pagoda de Chureito y el santuario de Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen, punto de partida tradicional de la ascensión al monte Fuji. Está decorado con gusto moderno minimalista, limpio y equipado con cocina, zona común y lavadora, aunque el personal no ofrezca a los clientes todas las facilidades que debiera. Dispone también de una azotea desde la que contemplar, con suerte, el espectacular Fujiyama. El gran problema de este tipo de alojamientos lo encontramos nuevamente en el reducido espacio de las habitaciones, aún dentro de los estándares japoneses. La nuestra era un pasillo con habitáculos de madera cerrados, por lo que la gestión de la ropa y el equipaje se hacía difícil, disponiendo además de un único perchero para cada persona. Con todo, a tener en cuenta para aquellos que anden buscando un hostel apartado de las zonas más turísticas y masificadas como la de Kawaguchiko.

L’hostel est très bien placé : proche de la gare, de la ville et de diverses attractions. L’ambiance générale est très zen, chaleureux et vraiment très agréable. Nous avions une chambre avec 4 futons, lumineuse et zen. Les douches sont très bien équipées (produits, sèche-cheveux) et possibilité de faire une machine pour le linge. Une kitchenette est mise à disposition avec tout le matériel (et de la belle vaisselle). Dans la salle commune un poêle chauffait et donnait une belle ambiance au lieu. Nous avons loué des vélos sur place très facilement. Les personnes sont vraiment très serviables et agréables.

It was casual weekend in fujiyoshida and I found the place by accident. Everything is new, super clean and cozy. A big thanks to the staff that makes your stay a huge experience. They was really helpful. And the best is 2 minutes by walk from fujisan station and close to the center. I’ll came back!
