The View. It's all about the view. We also learned a lot about the conservancy. We had a sundowner drive as well. It was very nice but according to the price it isn't worth it. But Ali (the Guide) did a real good job anyway.

Wow what a rare find. Nestled on the top of the mountain this is a wonderful spot to relax and unwind with one of the best African views. Seriously!! Don't expect the best internet connection and the best shower as this is a conservancy and they have done a wonderful job at keeping it Eco friendly but still super comfortable....

Hoada offers a beautiful campsite with remote, natural surroundings and great facilities hidden therein for campers. The place is extraordinarily nice and is as close to nature as possible. It has a clean shower and toilet, proper kitchen sink and water, fire place and shading, all you need for a relaxed stay without noise and people around.

It was a very exciting drive along the Grootberg Pass, especially at the later afternoon and the evening with beautiful colours while the sun goes down. The view from the pool and the rooms is amazing. The staff is very frinedly and there are game sights availible nearby, for example desert elephants or mountain zebras.

Exceptional experience where staff go to any length to provide extraordinary service. Not to be missed and book early, limited rooms. Always fully booked for good reason! Incredible views, delicious food and massage options. In addition it is all community owned and operated !

Perched above a dramatic valley the 'hobbit house' we stayed in could not have been better located. The staff were very helpful and efficient. I don't remember the two meals we had so probably okay. If you have a 4x4 and some experience then the drive up to the lodge is fine, otherwise get them to transport you.

We had a great time enjoying one night in the lodge. The view from the small lodge houses as well as from the main building is breathtaking. Also swimming in the pool with the view all over this big valley is amazing. The ride up to the lodge with our 4x4 is definitely very exciting. Take L4 and first gear...

We had a great experience. Staff were wonderful and Kanu and Charles were very informative and great fun on the Rhino and Elephant tracking - both of which were successful. The room was amazing and it felt as if it was just hanging on the edge of the mountain side. The resort is up the mountain, so the electrical supply...

n the email below one can read why we were 2 nights at Hoada Campsite belonging to Grootberg Lodge. The campsite would be very nice if it would be maintained better. Also the staff could look cleaner. Here comes the issue with Hoada: Hello, You are asking me to review Hoada Campsite and I am waiting to get a reply...
